Speaking of magazine capacity, a new-made Winchester 73 in .357 Magnum will hold 14 rounds. And it will fire almost as fast as a semi-auto.

I thought the AR-15 referred to Colt's design (like the M16 is based on the design).

Actually, though Colt owned, it was designed by Eugene Stoner for Armalite, hence the AR.

But real swords are alright. [Like 22:36-38.]

SBG, in answer to your question, yes, He did. Your position seems to me to come from the opinions of various good men. But, I (and others here) take Scripture at face value.

can you explain what Jesus means in Luke 22:38, “It is enough.”? Does this mean that His Disciples would only require two swords to protect themselves? Or, "enough of this talk"?

They only needed two swords. IMO, they carried them so they wouldn't be bothered by robbers. It was after dark.

11 Disciples, against MANY, and they only needed TWO swords?

Why did Jesus also say according to Matthew, at the same event,

"Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword" (26:52)

In Luke, He says to use the sword, as some like you understand it, which I believe is not what Jesus is saying. But, then in Matthew Jesus contradicts Himself? This says that you have misunderstood what Jesus means in Luke

When the "posse" sought to take Him with violence, He said "I am" and they fell back.

No, as I view John as a follow-on to Matthew. He would go as He wanted to go.

my point is, does Matthew contradict what Jesus says in Luke, about the use of swords?

No. It's just that both are terse statements.

maybe so, but, is there are contradiction? because you use the passage in Luke to justify the use of weapons, as do many others that I have discussed this with. But, when confronted by Jesus own words in Matthew, they understand Jesus words, "it is enough", not as a sanction for the use of weapons, but that Jesus was saying, "enough of this talk of arms"?

The disciples would not have been able to beat off those coming to arrest Jesus unless it was what God had wanted. It wasn't. Jesus gave himself up voluntary because it was God's will for him to do so. If the disciples all took up swords and killed all those sent by the high priest that would not have been according to God's plan would it? Jesus gave himself up following God's plan for his life, so he would sacrifice himself on the cross for us all.

However, when an Israeli father fought off godless men with his sword who was attacking his daughter that was God's will. When the British took up arms to fight the Nazis that was God's will. Many soldiers already had training in their youth on Lee Enfield rifles. Now G.B. has no youth trained on rifles like pre WW2. Our country absorbed millions of those Lee Enfield rifles. We bought them in sporting goods departments for cheap, not because they were no good, they are priceless treasures, that shoot fantastic to this day. Millions of them. The market should be gluted with them but they are not. Because the people who bought them know the fantastic bargain they aquired. High quality Rifle's.

In case you missed it, the OP is about born-again believers and not what the world might do, and how God might use this.

I cannot understand the mentality of the US, of their LOVE for firearms??? The world sees the US as
