Romans 8:28-30 NASB
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters;
and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

1) Who are those "called" according to His purpose? Those who love God. Thus created beings who exist and have chosen to love God.

2) Who are those He foreknew? Those who have been individually called (placed within Christ's spiritual body) because they love God.

3) How did God foreknow them or what about them did He know beforehand? God's redemption plan was to choose believers that He credited with righteous faith.

4) What else did God plan and predestine for those chosen? To cause them to be conformed to the image of His Son.

5) Now in the present, God is implementing His redemption plan, calling those whose faith He credits, by setting them apart in Christ, the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.

6) And these placed into Christ, are made alive together with Christ, undergoing the washing of regeneration, which removes whatever God held against them, and thus are justified by the blood of Christ.

7) And therefore, our rebirth as children of God, glories us as siblings of Christ, made blameless and perfect and righteous.

"Who are those called according to His purpose?"

The two passages below give the answer to the question. I will let God tell us His answer.

*Ephesians 1:3-6*

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

*Hebrews 9:15-17*

Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant. For where a will is involved, the death of the one who made it must be established. For a will takes effect only at death, since it is not in force as long as the one who made it is alive.

A promised "eternal" inheritance means it is both eternal in beginning and eternal in ending.

False. The verbs Foreknew, Predestined, Called, Justified, and Glorified are all in the aorist tense. All of the action is completed in the past--even the glorification.

Also, "who are called" is not a verbal phrase; it is participial. It is not expressing what you argue it does.

Someone finally said it, "our rebirth as children of God, glories us"

The words highlighted in red tried to be slipped in to conclude that,"our rebirth as children of God, glories us"

As wrong as the East is from the West.

You are messed up from the start. The ones that are PREDESTINED are the ones that are called. Those that are CALLED are the ones he justifies. Has nothing to do with our faith, the choice was already made. Faith is the activator, not the creator, of the choosing. The choice was already made. Faith is merely the vehicle.

I would like to know why the, "foreknown," of Romans 8:29 are not the, "known," of Amos 3:2? Someone explain that to me.

Someone explain something else.
In Rev 7:4-8 we have 144,000 sealed. In Rev 14:1,3,4, that 144,000 are said to be the first-fruit unto God and the Lamb.
Is that first-fruit of Rev 14 the same first-fruit of James 1:18? To whom is the letter/book of James written? Rev:7?

'Foreknown' means 'known before' - known and loved by God before they had any corporeal existence. God loved them from eternity and therefore predestined them to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:5). In time, He called them by the Holy Spirit, drawing them irresistibly to repent and trust in Christ (Jeremiah 31:3; 2 Thessalonians 2:13).

1 John 4:19, ". . . We love him, because he first loved us. . . ."

On the same thought can a Man love God without having the attribute of God?... Brother Glen:)

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Did anyone say otherwise? Nope. Obfuscations based on false assertions. And note the idiotic claim those who are called were not in the past called. I kid you not, this guy makes one false claim about Greek grammar after another to hide his false doctrine.

It means noting of the sort, so once again an idiotic false claim is hoisted to hide the falsehoods of Falselogy.

1) Who are those "called" according to His purpose? Those who love God. Thus created beings who exist and have chosen to love God. Some translation choose to include the article, thus reading those who are the called according to His purpose. Therefore those in view are those who have been transferred into Christ's spiritual body.

2) Who are those He foreknew? Those who have been individually called (placed within Christ's spiritual body) because they love God.

Funny how you snipped out the Bible and then say "taint so" regarding the answer to "who are the called." Moreso, you call the text of scripture falseology since it openly destroys your opinion.
Go back and read Ephesians 1 and Hebrews 9 once again. You are presently swimming in De Nile.

Ad hominem. You simply can't deal accurately with the Greek.

So, @Reformed1689 is "ungodly" simply for pointing our your ignorance? So, are we then to assume that all who oppose the great and powerful Van are ungodly?

They aren't falsehoods. All the verbs in Romans 8:29 are, in fact, in the Aorist. That isn't false. That these verbs are Aorist does prove your assertions false, however.
