God's choosing is not the election. It is true one being elect is to have been a part of God's choosing. Ephesians 1:4, ". . . According as he hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, . . ." The elections are throughout time. Matthew 22:14, ". . . For many are called, but few are | the elected. | . . ."

There are none who are elected who were not called, 2 Peter 1:10, ". . . give diligence to make your calling and election sure: . . ." We know from Matthew 22:14 that not all the many the called are the few elected.
