Just watching the speeches. Very interesting. There is a large section of repubs that don’t trust the leadership to actually address the issues they care about.

Wouldn’t it be something to see if former VP Pence becomes Speaker?

    peace to you

The sad part is Congress can't get anything done until they choose a Speaker.

This is compounded by the fact Congress can't get anything done regardless.

The first caucuses will be 22 Jan 24 - That is only 6 months and 3 weeks away
The first primary will be a week later in New Hampshire

Folks - if you turn around - the season will be here

First Republican debate 23 Aug! A mere 49 days away
    Labor day -just 60 days
    Thanksgiving - 134 days
Christmas - 168 days (& that is a mere 28 days before the primary!

Put on your seat belts - its gonna be a bumpy ride!

So, will Iowa and NH go for Trump or someone else???

DT has clear supremacy in the polls. He is above 50% consistently. I don’t believe he ever got that kind of support in 2016. About 30% better than DeSantis.

He appears to be playing it safe and smart. He is controlling his mouth fairly well, though he seemed very “whiny” in a recent interview about DeSantis not being loyal.

Iowa is always a wild card, NH a little more predictable. DT isn’t doing the debates and thst may cost him if someone has a great debate night. Still, he remains way ahead.

It really has the feel of two incumbents facing off.

    peace to you
