@Van = into glorified bodies, and together with Christ on David's earthly throne, will rule on the earth for one thousand years.
@37818 = The 1000 year reign of Christ and His resurrected and raptured believers of an unbelieving earth that God left after His wrath, without the devil during that time.
I agree yet the questions. Why? What is the purpose for this reign and who is reigned over?
Is the ruling spoken of above relative to 1 Cor 15:24 -26 YLT
then -- the end, when he may deliver up the reign to God, even the Father, when he may have made useless all rule, and all authority and power --. for it behoveth him to reign till he may have put all the enemies under his feet -- the last enemy is done away -- death;
Does that take place following to 1000 year reign? The delivering up to God, even the Father?
@Van a question relative to; all those ever saved will be resurrected in glorified bodies
Could that be equally written as; all those who received, the first-fruit of the spirit, will be resurrected and or changed into glorified bodies, to reign ect ?
If the answer is yes, of which I believe to be, whether OT or NT saints it raises some interesting thoughts relative to, John 7:39 YLT and this he said of the Spirit, which those believing in him were about to receive; for not yet was the Holy Spirit,
because Jesus was not yet glorified.
And
Gal 3:2 YLT this only do I wish to learn from you -- by works of law the Spirit did ye receive, or by the hearing of faith? ( The out of hearing of faith )
What does, receiving the Spirit, have to do with the out of hearing of faith and Jesus being glorified?
Did the OT saints die to faith of the glorified Jesus to be indwelt with the first-fruit of the Spirit following the Lord's Passover?
The Passover, Jesus was sacrificed, they and we were and continue to be unleavened, washed in the blood, by the resurrected glorified Jesus see 1 Peter 1:21 & 1 Cor 15:17 1 John 1:7-9 then the first-fruit was poured out (feast of first-fruit)
