So, folks, JD731 has called us "apostate," he called one poster "dishonest," he has not said that Bible translators are "careless with the Word of God" and "corrupted by being numb" (don't know what that's supposed to mean).

So, who's mean??? :Whistling

As far as I know, I am the only actual Bible translator on this thread, so this is a direct attack against me. You said that I had been mean to you, etc. I asked you to show me where and I would apologize, but you never did. So, I think you were simply spouting off, and not offended at all.

Yet here you are, being vicious to me, though you don't know the slightest thing about how I translate the Word of God. I am not careless with the Word of God, and I have not corrupted the Word of God.

Would you please get over yourself. This thread is not about you.

We are blessed to have him on any thread. His experience is extremely valuable.

I
He takes disagreements with him personally. Example, I mentioned translators and since.he is the only translator, I must be speaking about him. Therefore he framed his comments as if I had insulted him.

In the. OT there were prophets of Israel who spoke for God, they said, but God said he did not send them.
There is no evidence from God that he sent all these NT prophets with many different “English” translations. Thank you fellows for helping me prove that by your lack of ability to “ prove all things.” I would have believed you if you could have proven God sent all these translations and paraphrases.

Well, Romans 2:1 comes to mind, and does not exclude any of us. ". . . Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. . . ."

Yes, you "mentioned" Bible translators: "careless with the Word of God" and "corrupted by being numb." You didn't say "English." You didn't say "missionary translators." You simply said translators.

You know, this whole thread, you've been making general, ambiguous statements and attacks, and then crowing about the great points you've made. In the meantime, you refuse to answer cogent points made by me and others.

I'd say this thread was a total bust. :Laugh
