What Christ did not do in His Penal Substitution.

I am going to give a short answer.

First a Biblical reference, Matthew 25:41, ". . . Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: . . ."

Christ on the cross did not receive God's anger and wrath, that being the fire.

Christ did not die as punishment for the specific sins, past, present and future, of the supposedly previously chosen individuals. He died for humanity's sins in general such that anyone God transfers into Him will not perish but have everlasting life. Those directed to depart might have been "professing Christians" but they were never given to (transferred into) Christ, thus He never knew them. Note the verse does not say, depart from Me, I knew you once but you lost your salvation.
