Because it isn’t what scripture teaches and I refuse the teachings of man that are man centered and embrace the teaching of scripture that are God centered.
All men stand condemned before God, enslaved to sin, in total rebellion, with no desire for the things of God. Unless God intervenes, all will die in their sins and be forever separated from God and His glory.
But God, in His mercy and according to His will chose to save some. Those He chose, He set apart and predestined. Those He predestined, He regenerated by His Spirit, convicted them on sin and the truth of Christ and Him crucified, gave them faith, clothed them in the righteousness of His Son Jesus Christ and blessed them with every heavenly blessing and Christ is our advocate before God’s throne in this life and the next and He will lose none.
It is very difficult to understand for those whose minds are focused on mankind and on man centered salvation.
Some of those who live in error might even believe many are saved having never heard the gospel.
peace to you
So you give me the typical Calvinist answer part biblical but much not. It seems you have lost your way and gone down that path of a man-made theology.
Do men sin, of course does God, as you say, intervene in all men's lives, of course John 16:8-9 and we should not forget what Christ said He would do John 12:32.
You once again error, God desires all to be saved 1Timothy 2:3-4 not just some and that is why Christ died for all 1 John 2:2.
I find it odd that you still want God to save people before they even believe in Him even though the bible tells us that God only saves those that do John 3:14, John 3:16, and of course we can not forget this one Acts of the Apostles 16:30-31. How can you keep missing these clear verses?
Perhaps you can explain how these two verses fit into your theological view that God has to give one faith after they are reborn/regenerated?
Gal_3:22 But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Heb_11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
I know you have been told this many many times but you keep ignoring it. Man does not save himself as only God can save and He has chosen to save those that believe in His son.
Joh 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,
Joh 1:13
who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man,
but of God.
You should try to remember this as when you keep saying non-calvinists believe in a man centered salvation it just makes you look bad.
I know this verse will be hard for you to accept but give it a try.
Eph 1:13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,
I would have to guess that you do not have these verses in your bible
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
Rom 1:19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.
Rom 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
We are condemned because we reject the truth about God which we can know, whether through the gospel message or through His creation. Not everybody has access to the gospel message but all have access to His creation and that is why God says man is without excuse.
