I had a feeling there would be a Baptist forum if I just looked, and here I am.
The first church I ever went to was a little Independent Baptist church in West Enola, PA. Our Pastor was an impressive fellow of over 6' well built with deep red hair parted in the middle, David Pelitier, (sp?). He moved on to KY or TN late 60's early 70's. Later in the 90's we attended Landmark Bible Baptist Church, (aka Why At The Well?) in Mechanicsburg PA. A very strong out-reach church led by Pastor Robert Kauffman until we moved out of the area. Currently attending Cavalry Fellowship Church. It's a good solid church with good solid Christians, but I miss being in a Baptist church.
