    I agree you have 'answered' my questions. So I stand by summation of our basically one-way 'conversation'.

    Jesus ate with "sinners". Open and blatant sinners. Having lunch to share the truth of repentance with them.

    Jesus attended a wedding. But not a homosexual wedding.

    I believe we should live like Christ in this manner. I'll gladly have lunch or attend a movie or attend a funeral of the loved one of a homosexual. That gives me the chance to be a witness of Christ to them. I have attended the funeral of the mother of a homosexual friend of mine who is "married" to another man.

    I loved his mother and grieved for him. We sat and talked a while about our mothers. He wanted me to meet his "husband". I was not rude and said that I would like to meet him. I shook his hand and smiled. I also told the both of them together that I was praying and would continue to pray for the both of them. Again, I was not rude, but I could not let the moment - any moment - go with me saying nothing about how I feel. My friend was not thrilled with me saying that, but he knows I love him and seek his repentance.

    I would NEVER attend the wedding ceremony of a same sex couple as that shows 100% support of homosexuality.

    Christ did not go to the brothel to tell prostitutes to repent. He did not get drunk with the drunkards to teach repentance to them. He did not bully the people alongside the tax collectors to teach them repentance.

    He DID have lunch with them. He told Zaccheus - IN FRONT OF THE CROWD - that he wanted to have lunch with him that day.

    Common sense must prevail with Christians. Attending the sacred union of marriage before God of a same sex couple is NOT witnessing a sacred union - but a devil's union. Why would we help celebrate that?

    It is supporting sin. And we cannot do that.

    13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

    14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

    15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

    16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

    17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

    18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

    19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

    WHERE?

    this is my last response to you, as you are only interested in what YOU believe, and NOT what the Bible actually teaches!

    Others and myself have shown you clear passages from the Bible, showing that you are clearly WRONG, but you say that sin does not concern you!

    You then try are FORCE John 17:13-19, to "support" your UNBIBLICAL nonsense, which it does NOT!

    I believe what the Bible teaches. I thought that I took a clear position on this. But if all it is is nonsense to you then I guess my time here has been wasted.

    2 Timothy 4: I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

    2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

    3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

    4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

    No I am not. You said we should just go along so you do not hurt their feelings. Why tell them it is sin? Why stand for God?

    Words have meaning and yours lead to the above conclusion.

    Human connection is more important. Connection is the Gospel. The cross is about the connection between God and man.

    My position is go to the wedding, build bridges, be connected. We're made in the image of God. Let's live in such a way so that our human connections reflect the beauty of the connection that God has with us.

    How, by compromising the truth of God?

    Same s;x union is wrong.
    For a Christian to support that would lessen what Christ has done for us. He died to save us from our sin not so that we could live in it or justify it which you would be doing by attending that thing.

    The best thing one could do is lovingly share the gospel with them. With God's help they can come out of their fallen lifestyle.

    It's just not my place to tell people how to live their lives. I don't like pushing my faith on other people. It's just not who I am. There's a verse in the Bible somewhere that says all things have been washed clean and that we are no longer beholden to the law. If God can go to the cross and defeat death then He most certainly can understand a same sex marriage. God knows us so deeply and will meet us where we are.

    I HAVE a human connection with my gay friend who is married to another man. He KNOWS we have a friendship. He knows that I loved his mother.

    But I did not attend his "wedding". In fact, he didn't invite me. That does not break our connection. We HAVE a connection despite his lifestyle. He didn't invite me as he knew I would not attend and that did not destroy anything.

    "Connection" sometimes requires people to understand each others' differences. "Connection" is NOT supporting someone's disobedience of God.

    I would not attend a party where heavy drinking was involved and I knew that a few of my friends were alcoholics. Why would I celebrate their serious addiction and drink with them?

    Same thing with same sex weddings.
