WHAT MAKES THIS BIBLE UNIQUE AND SPECIAL?
First and foremost, The God Bless The USA Bible is the ONLY Bible inspired by America’s most recognized patriotic anthem, God Bless The USA

This is the only Bible endorsed by President Trump

This Bible also features a copy of:

  • Handwritten chorus to “God Bless The USA” by Lee Greenwood
  • The US Constitution
  • The Bill of Rights
  • The Declaration of Independence
  • The Pledge of Allegiance

God Bless The USA Bible

It looks like a fund-raising effort plus an appeal for the evangelical vote. A $59.99 King James Version.

On my bookshelf, I have the "American Patriot's Bible (NKJV). It has extra pages with historical information, such as the exact wording of the first prayer that opened Congress in 1774. It started with a reading of Psalm 35.

@kyredneck ,

What is your opinion about that Bible (and its marketing)?

Trump and Greenwood say it is not political, but I'm not sure that it can't be taken as a political move (especially given the timing of its release).

One issue thst I have is that it is marketed as the only Bible inspired by Greenwood's song "God bless the USA". I know it is a KJV with "extras" (the Biblical text isn't a new translation).

I also wonder about the "extras", like the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. I am not saying this is their intent, but including such in a Bible gives an elevated idea (IMHO) of those documents. God's Word does not belong to our nation.

I also can't help to view this as a political move with Trump pandering to Chriatian conservatives. It makes me question the validity of his faith statements.

I think this may backfire among faithful Christians, but perhaps gain ground among professing Christians who elevate politics in their faith.

What do you think?

Another problem is the profit. It has the appearance that this is not only pandering but also linking politics to Scripture for monetary gain.

CIC Ventures (Trump is identified as 100% owner, company president, secretary, manager, and treasurer).

"Happy Holy Week!” "Let’s Make America Pray Again. As we lead into Good Friday and Easter, I encourage you to get a copy of the God Bless The USA Bible.” (Trump)

I can't help but think of Jesus and the money changers. I wonder if Christiams will just ignore this because of politics.

FYI. I do not and have not agreed with Trump's past choices for spiritual advisors.

Not good. We need to pray for the man.

The issue is Trump appears to have embraced "Christianity" as a political platform. This, by necessity, means embracing the most popular form of "Christianity".

Trump and Biden need our prayers. What neither need is to reside in the highest office of our nation.

In the 70's there was an actual Christian Party. The search engines do not know about it. I remained a Republican. Today I am a declined to state, no party membership.

Another sad development-

Apparently if you do not approve of the "God bless the USA" Bible this is because you are a "Trump hater".

It seems that everything gets shifted to politics.

When did politics become more important than other aspects of our lives, to include our faith?

I heard of the Christian Party around WW1 (it was a fascist political group). But I don't know of the one in the 70's (that was before I paid attention to politics).

I don't think that Christianity can adequately be represented by a secular political party without some amount of corruption. It seems that every attempt turns out using our faith for political purposes, regardless of initial intent.

Not anything the same. One had to be a genuine professing born again Christian and a paying membership. And agree with its party platform. If I remember that correctly. 1970's.
