Matthew 13:11 It is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Your charge is false.

World means Jews and Gentiles in 1 John 2:2, not just Jews as the case had largely been for many centuries before Christ came in the flesh. Look at Luke 2:1. A student of the Bible must always keep in mind the context, context, context.

What I quoted to you from Gill concerning God choosing a people to give to Christ before the world began to be their Surety is taught in the Bible. Your denial of God's sovereignty in the matter does not affect at all the Biblical teaching that God is sovereign in the matter of salvation.

Your post just confirms what I have said, by your own words you show you twist scripture to your own ends.

Yes, the whole world of God's elect is redeemed.

God saves His people by, through, and in Christ. No creature can save himself through any effort or action of his own.

Jonah 2:9 Salvation is of the LORD.

Salvation is not of man. Salvation is of the LORD.

God through His grace saves those that believe. They are the elect because they do believe not so they will believe as you would have it.

They are the elect because they do believe

They are elect because God chose them before the world began and gave them to His Son to be their Surety.

Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

I do not.

I do not.

I do not.

@KenH I do not enjoy telling you what I see in your posts as I am sure you really do love God. The unfortunate reality is that your theology calls into question the very character of God. You have taken the God of the bible that loves His creation and made Him a God that actually hates the vast majority of it. Remember it is your version of God that has decreed all that can or will happen.

Your version of God has decreed to save just a small group and has condemned the rest to hell for for rejecting Him not because they wanted to but because they could not do anything else as your version of God decreed it so.

You try to avoid the obvious by saying that man just does what is his greatest desire but you overlook the fact that your God has decreed what mans nature/desire should be and by His decree they will only reject Him.

I am sorry Ken but these verses do not support your view as much as you would like them to. You have trusted in a man-made theology rather than the Holy Spirit inspired word of God.

The Holy word of God has been twisted and maligned by well meaning man in their rush to distance themselves from the Church of Rome. There efforts brought us the reformation which is a good thing but they followed Augustine which is a bad thing. Augustine brought pagan philosophy into the church and some of the reformers just carried his views forward.

God is sovereign. Man is not. God is not like man. Those who say that God is basically like the gods of Greek mythology or like the "superheroes" of Marvel Comics movies, and can fail to achieve His purposes or His desires or His glory, are wrong, very wrong.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Psalms 50:21 Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself.

1Jn 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
1Ti 2:4 who desires
all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Did Paul change his mind concerning Jesus as the Son of God, or did God the Father through Jesus the Son call Paul out of unbelief unto belief for PURPOSE?

Did Paul become a recipient of the first-fruit of the Spirit? Why is there a first-fruit of the Spirit?

Joe 2:28

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

All flesh today or just the Paul's for purpose? When is afterward ? Can just anyone that free willing wants to receive the Spirit of Truth or just the ones God is calling for purpose?

Acts 22:9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
Gal 3:2 YLT this only do I wish to learn from you -- by works of law the Spirit did ye receive, or by the hearing of faith? [or
out of hearing of faith]
Gal 3:14 YLT that to the nations the blessing of Abraham may come in Christ Jesus, that the promise of the Spirit we may receive through the faith. --- What is, "the faith," the called hear, out of which they receive the Spirit? Is it not the obedient death and thus resurrection of Jesus the Christ.

Jesus on the cross became the, obedience of faith. IMHO

Eph 2:8 [to the] for [to] grace ye are having been saved, through [the] faith [obedient death], and this not of you -- of God the gift,

You have been saved, because of, the obedient death and thus the resurrection of Jesus [grace of life]

Heirs (not yet inheritors) of the grace of life. As in 1 Peter 3:7

1Ti 2:4 who desires all men to be saved

All of those given to Christ by God the Father - God's elect - chosen before the foundation of the world and given to Christ to be their Surety.

John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me.

John 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

God's elect - chosen before the foundation of the world . . .
That is not what the word of God says. God's choosing yes. But not the election itself. Compare word usage as in Mark 13:20, . . . for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen . . .

1 Corinthians 1:27 . . . chosen . . . .
James 2:5 . . . chosen . . . .
Ephesians 1:4, . . . chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, . . .

John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me.

John 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

Joh 6:38 "For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
Joh 6:39 "This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.
Joh 6:40 "And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

The will of God is that those that believe in the Son will be given to Him. But note they have to believe as God is not going to do it for them as your calvinism seems to think.

The will of God is that those that believe in the Son will be given to Him.

It is the will of God that all of those whom He gave to His Son before the world began will be empowered by the Holy Spirit and made willing to believe in the Son.
