"More than 200 Republicans who previously worked for either former President George W. Bush, the late Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., or Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president in an open letter Monday obtained exclusively by USA TODAY.

The letter from the alums of the three Republican presidential nominees prior to former President Donald Trump comes on the heels of a Democratic National Convention last week in Chicago that showcased Republican detractors of the GOP nominee. At least five former aides to former President George H.W. Bush also signed the letter, which has 238 signatures in all.
    ...
'We reunite today, joined by new George H.W. Bush alumni, to reinforce our 2020 statements and, for the first time, jointly declare that we’re voting for Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz this November," the letter reads. "Of course, we have plenty of honest, ideological disagreements with Vice President Harris and Gov. Walz. That’s to be expected. The alternative, however, is simply untenable.'

Of course. Bush, McCain, and Romney were and are the most blood thirsty warmongers who have ever lived. They never met a war which was unprofitable for them. That's why they endorsed Kamala. She is good for war. Former Donald Trump was/is bad for warmongers.

I know that you cannot stand Donald Trump, KenH. I have a very hard time with him, too. Truly, I do.

    He's a buffoon.

However, people who claim to support the Harris/Walz ticket have problems. And the majority of those problems are spiritual.

Trump may be a narcissistic idiot, but the beliefs of the left are demonic.

This is a problem I have with politics.

Clearly the DNC is demonic (they actually claim this lable with joy).

But we are talking about worlds powers, so this is expected.

I am not sure that the GOP is much better. At best they exist to compromise with demonic agendas for a less demonic outcome. At worse they dull the light of the Christians recruited as political pawns used to obtain power.

I guess I'm still disgusted by the Trump Bible and Chriatians who viewed this as a good thing. :(

    Amen to that!!

I'm disheartened to the core of those Christians who believe that Trump is a Christian and speak of him as "anointed" because his right ear bled and Aaron was anointed as priest with blood on his right ear, right thumb, and right big toe.

It's not my place to judge his spiritual status - I have no authority or right. All I can do is give his statements about it. By the way, he is on my prayer list for salvation.

About four weeks ago, he said on Fox News to Laura Ingrahm when she asked if he believed in heaven, he said, "Yes, I believe in heaven and if I am good, I will go there and if I am bad, I will go to the other place."

That sounds like a small child who doesn't understand the concept of personal sin.

He has also said about asking for forgiveness [this is several years ago,] "No, I don't ask for forgiveness. If I do something bad, I try to make up with it by doing something good and that's sort of like asking for forgiveness."

Trump's pastor when he was young was Norman Vincent Peal. His spiritual advisor in the White House was Paula White.

It's no wonder he doesn't appear to understand.

This is why he is on my prayer list!! [I can provide the video for his words if necessary]

I believe this has been building in our churches for decades (it is not just Trump). I have seen "churches" exchanging the being a church for politics throughout my adult life.

But it has grown significantly as the DNC has outwardly proclaimed a demonic platform.

I simply think Christians are being willingly misled, even if their intention is to be an obstacle to the DNC.

In the end what matters is not opposition to worldly powers but our stand. I do not think God will let a stand for Trump or the GOP, even if it opposes the DNC, count in place of a stand for Christ.

Look to what one treasures and you will see their heart.

Every human on this earth has spiritual problems. Romans 3:9-18.

This I know - that God will place whomever He has ordained to be the next president of the United States(preferably Christ returns before November 5 and brings in the new heavens and earth wherein dwells righteousness and none of this political stuff we are all arguing over will matter). We can vote but the choice is not really ours, as voting is just a means that God uses to place in positions of power those who He has ordained to be in those positions, including the president of the United States, whether it ends up being Kamala Harris or Donald Trump or someone else.

This I also know - that God has taken care of me during the Biden presidency, the Trump presidency, the Obama presidency, the George W. Bush presidency, all the way back to the Eisenhower presidency when I was born. Therefore, I have faith and trust in God that He will continue to take care of me, regardless of whom He puts in any position of power.

Psalms 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Wow! Only 200?. Given the widespread corruption in the Repub party, and DT’s promise to expose it, I expected 1000’s.

I guess the 75 million that voted for DT in 2020 and will likely vote for him again, might have a little more impact on the election than 200 people terrified their corruption will be exposed for all to see.

    peace to you

You can almost hear the slogan, Rino's of the World, Unite.

Nearly all of the National Politicians claim to be Christian. Mr Obama was a "committed Christian." Mr. Trump said he was a Presbyterian. Personally I put no stock in such statements, but only in the person's record of policy decisions. Anyone who claims the Constitution had hidden in its implications the right of a mother to murder her preborn child, obviously was not committed to biblical doctrine.

Yes, we can all see Mr.Trump, warts and all, because he speaks his mind and tells us what he believes to be true. But to buy a pig in a poke, rather than a known item, is just foolish. The Democrats are long of promises and short on performance. Weaponizing the Justice Department against Mr. Trump did not "unite" America.

The selective enforcement of laws is particularly troublesome. Mr Biden takes classified documents without support in law, and is not prosecuted, but Mr. Trump with the Presidential records acts is prosecuted.

We know from their record that Biden/Harris is a failed administration. We have war, we have inflation, we have an open border, high energy costs, and we have the decline in Mr. Biden's heath hidden by material false statements. Talk about a war on democracy!

The only question is at what point will the vast majority of voters stop believing the falsehoods of the left?
