Our Baptist views are diverse. Sometimes to discuss some of the different understandings is just difficult to do.I hope to enter discussions without being told I am a heretic for believing things that most Baptists believe.

Wasn't you, brother. I'll try.Welcome back.
I'm curious if you're able to link to the posts where you were accused of heresy; I'd really like to know because i engaged with you many times and I don't recall you ever being 'heretical' and I certainly didn't accuse you of it.
I'm a pretty run of the mill Calvinist.Personally, I view the term”heretical” through a very narrow lens … like denying either the Deity or Humanity of Jesus … the Trinity of the Godhead … the need for salvation. (Things that qualify as stepping on the third rail of salvation).
Me too … except as a Baptist, we get to be Particular Baptists.I'm a pretty run of the mill Calvinist.
We call ourselves Reformed Baptists. Probably pretty close.Me too … except as a Baptist, we get to be Particular Baptists.
[Cause we are Sola Scriptura and don’t care what Mr Calvin had to say.]
Most call me a Peculiar Baptist, fer shur. (Founded and pastored a Reformed Baptist Church 16 years before retiring)We call ourselves Reformed Baptists. Probably pretty close.
