From Carney and Sheinbaum to Macron, Starmer and Zelenskyy, woke, left wing politicians are receiving a boost in the polls from Trump's bullying of his allies and relentless brown-nosing of Putin.
If Trump is the reason for Starmer winning the next UK election, it really will break my heart!

I heard a recent argument of merit that claimed that the Traditional Republican Party was defined by:

FREE TRADE … but Trump is calling for Tariffs which are anti-Free Trade
PRO DEFENSE … but Trump is calling for an end to International Conflicts and LESS US involvement
CHRISTIAN RIGHT … but Trump has come out neutral on gay marriage, just anti-radical SOCIALISM

So using RONALD REGAN as the yardstick for the traditional Republican and someone like AOC as the yardstick for the modern Democrat, MAGA is actually closer to the old “social liberal, fiscal conservative” SOUTHERN DEMOCRAT!

How is that for a shocker?

I thought Trump was calling for tariffs because the tariffs against the US are greater therefore he is trying to balance the trade?

A recent breach of security resulted in Europe getting an earful of American sentiment concerning the free-loading of European countries failing to spend enough of their GDP on defense. Why didn't the Europeans stop those harming their vital shipping lanes?

Rather than finding fault with others, perhaps the Europeans should examine their own responsibilities and change course to one seeking peace through strength. What we have now is war through appeasement.
