Was Jesus the ternal Son of the Father from all eternity past, or did he become such at the Incarnation, as before that was very Word of the Father?

It should be noted the concept of the eternal Son of God is an interpretation. Not explicitly stated in the written word of God.

I am of the persuasion the Son of God was always the Son of God being the Son before His incarnation, per Proverbs 30:4 and John 1:18, "Son."

So He prexisted as Both the Son and the Word?

I agree, 37818.

Christ became His Son in humanity on that day.

I believe as you, He has always existed as the Son, and as the Word from infinity past.

So how you reconcile that with the scriptures of Psalm 2:7
I will tell of the decree:The Lord said to me, "You are my Son;today I have begotten you.

The decree in Psalm 2:7 was made in heaven before the foundation of the world. The Father gives the Son the absolute power over the universe to redeem humanity by becoming humanity. It's God's plan of Redemption.

Its a Messianic Psalm of the King Messiah yet to have come though

The author of Hebrews 5:5 says the same as Psalm 2:7, when speaking of Christ as being the Priest after the order of Melchisedec.

Sometime before the world began, whenever that was, this decree was made of Christ.

This is part of the reason I believe Christ was the begotten of the Father in His future humanity, yet to come at that time.

If that makes sense?

Did The Son take on the seed of Adam, or the seed of Abraham?
Heb.16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Do you mean it refers to this in the first century? Acts13:
32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Is that what you are posting about?

Heb.16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Heb. 2:16 is not referring to Christ taking on a seed as in birth, He was conceived of the Spirit, not of man.

"He took on Him not the nature of angels" meaning He didn't come to be the Savior of angels , by taking on their nature.

" He took on Him the the seed of Abraham" referring to His humanity, taking on the body of man to redeem us.

Are all the seed of Adam= to the seed of Abraham? It seems to be speaking of a group of people The Father gives to the Son

12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

Well, it's my opinion that the seed of Abraham was used because he was the Father of Jewish people, Christ' brethren.

vs. 17 "Wherefore in all things it behooved Him to made like unto His brethren."

It refers to being made as a man, the incarnation. Christ came the first time for only the lost sheep of Israel, His brethren.

But even though Israel failed in their calling to evangelize us Gentiles, Christ didn't forget us.

Does That match this scripture? Gal.3
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
vs. 17 "Wherefore in all things it behooved Him to made like unto His brethren."
It looks as if His brethren are those declared to be the church...not Israelites

Well, he did come as flesh and blood a man, because the children given to Him were flesh and blood, right? That does not tell us their identity
Christ came the first time for only the lost sheep of Israel, His brethren.
Jesus did offer the gospel to Israel first, but this is now written after Pentecost, when we are told it goes into all the world. Acts13:
45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

But even though Israel failed in their calling to evangelize us Gentiles, Christ didn't forget us.
Thankfully he did not forget us as hebrews 2 speaks of. Do you think your present understanding fits these passages?

The Gentile Church is God's second choice to evangelize the world, Israel is His original choice.

Paul said God is not finished with Israel, and "all of Israel will be saved."

They will fulfill their original calling to evangelize the world in the Millennial reign of Christ.

None of us has witnessed the true worship of our Lord.

But wait until Israel accepts their Messiah, and they are saved.

We will all witness how to worship the Lord Jesus Christ.

What do you mean? I thought God has one plan. He made a choice, but then somehow had to make a change? I am not sure what you mean?
Paul said God is not finished with Israel, and "all of Israel will be saved."
Yes...scripture does give that indication.
They will fulfill their original calling to evangelize the world in the Millennial reign of Christ.
So now they do not fulfill that calling? saved jews do not evangelize? I am not sure if I have ever heard this idea.
