"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." ( Philippians 2:5-8 ). <--- Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God...was made in the likeness of men ( became a man ).
" God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; " ( Hebrews 1:1-2 ). <--- God has spoken to us by His Son...by whom He also made "the worlds". Jesus was there at the beginning, and made everything that was made.
" Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw [it], and was glad.
57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." ( John 8:56-58 ). _ <---- "I am" is a statement of always being. Here Jesus is explicitly stating that He is eternally God.
" And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." ( John 17:5 ). <---- "Eternal Sonship"...Jesus, the Word who was with God and was God, was glorified as God before the world was.
Respectfully,
To me, all one has to do is to believe what is written in order to see that Jesus Christ is the Son, was the Son and will always be the Son of God.
He also is God, was God and will always be God.
