I see no difference between Baptists and other churches.

The Apostle Paul declares...

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. - 1 Timothy 3:16

Key word... Mystery... The basics of Salvation... In which the Baptist believe...

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. - Romans 10:8-9

Understanding the mysteries of 1 Timothy 3:16 Godliness are not requirements for Salvation.

1 Timothy 3:16 -
Revised Standard Version

16-Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of our religion:
He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

And the RSV is a Trinitarian translation!

There is no Gentile salvation in the name of Jehovah...

God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. - Philippians 2:9

Nothing on the name of Jehovah here!

He was speaking to His son.
Isaiah 46:9
Remember the former things of old:
for I am God, and there is none else;
I am God, and there is none like me,

So when God uses the plural to describe Himself and says there is none like Him, why do you not believe Him?

Wouldn’t the Son be like the Father? But if He is the same as the Father it makes sense.

Because to later made His son known- and HE was just like him!

And,. to me, the Baptists are arrogant and set in their ways...

You are a guest here. I am no longer Baptist but have learned much from the people on this board over 15 years and, yes, some do let ego impede their Christian witness. However, most of us believe in the faith of church we attend or we wouldn't be there.

I hope you post respectfully and with Christian charity and you can participate here. Welcome to the BB

Why? You're prejudice?
There are clear differences.
And we like to know who we are talking to. We have enough challenges remembering all of our own nuances without playing guessing games and trying to figure out what everyone believes. It’s hard to take you seriously if you’re ashamed to admit what you believe/who you’re associated with.
Prejudice doesn’t have anything to do with it.

What does it matter.
Listen to the scriptures!
