Do believers have two free wills?

Since believers have two natures, the carnal nature and the spiritual nature, does that mean we have two free wills? Can you elaborate on this?

Greetings Guido. Peace to you brother.

The Will, without getting into the weeds, is that faculty by which the mind chooses any thing. It is the faculty or power by which the mind is capable of choosing. An act of the Will is the same thing as the act of choosing or choice. The will is not the same as one's nature.

The nature of man and what that particular nature is inclined to entice the mind of man with is not the same as the will.

So to answer your question...no, we do not have two Wills even though there might be two natures.

Hope and Grace to you

I'd say "no". Men has free will. But what changes us our heart. Our desires change.

Our struggle is with the desires of the flesh. In this life we struggle between the flesh and the spirit.

In the physical realm, I believe mankind has limited free will. God's children are most certainly subject to His intervention and discipline when needed.

(Heb 12:8 KJV) But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

(Jon 1:2 KJV) Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
(Jon 1:3 KJV) But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.

God intervened in Jonah's free will plan.

(Act 9:1 KJV) And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
(Act 9:3 KJV) And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

God intervened in Saul's free will plan.

There are major events in my life when I thought I was exercising my free will. However, in hind sight, God was directing my path. Praise be go God!

In the spiritual realm, I believe Satan deceives man by allowing him to think his actions are approved by God.

(Mat 7:21 KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
(Mat 7:22 KJV) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
(Mat 7:23 KJV) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
