My summer Vacation

Mrs Salty and I will be going up to Ft Drum and spend a few days at the Remengtion Park Rec center!
Will be fun in a cabin (maybe no net or TV!)
Just relax and enjoy life!

I’m at Living Waters Bible Camp along the Grand Lake at Weston, Maine.

No TV, spotty internet, but good singing and preaching.


And the fireworks show last night was spectacular!

Yes, my life has provided many wonderful memories of "summer vacations" many at National Parks. As a youth I watched the actual fire falls, before they stopped shoving burning bark over the cliff.

And my kids, now in their 50's tell me of their memories of camping, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors provided by God.

Our whole summer travel plan screeched to a halt with health issues. Can no longer fly, so travel to SoCal for wedding of grandson last weekend was out of the question. We will do some shorter day trips (150-mile loop max) since it's been 40 years since living in Wisconsin where we've retired; we have LOTS of places to go if we get medical clearance.
