Is Eternal Security of the Believer an Essential Doctrine?

No. Free-will Baptists are Baptists (for example).

And you have to go deeper than simply "eternal security" or "OSAS" (for example, saved from what? The wrath to come? If so then it would be impossible to loose what has yet been realized...the word would be "safe" with the possibility or impossibility of changing that position)

But even Free will tend to see Believers are staying saved, correct?

Do you understand the words, the new birth? Have you ever heard of any one or any thing that has been born that has become unborn? Logic and reason as a foundation will insure you do not go miles off the path as you proceed.
