Are there NT Churches apart from Baptist Churches then?

Each church having an elder/pastor/teacher.
(Mar 1:2 KJV) As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

"The KJV translates Strong's G32 in the following manner: angel (179x),

a messenger, envoy, one who is sent, an angel, a messenger from God"

Announces God's message in a manner humans can understand.

In the NT church there was no "elder" as an office. Elders were simply those mature in the faith.
They had a pastor or "overseer" and several teachers as gifted by God.

Elders were mature in age (in life) and faith.
Pastors weew overseers of the congregation.
Teachers taught congregation members.

But my question is what would be the purpose of a "messenger"?

For example:

My answer is that "messengers" communicate messages to the body they represent.
One telks a messenger a message for that messenger to take to the people represented.
One addresses a body or organization through a messenger.
Jesus addressed the churches through messengers.

Why do you believe the word chosen in Scripture is "messenger" rather than "pastor", "overseer", "elders", or "teachers"?
The said messenger was being held responsible for each of their churches.

And that being the case, not believing it, does not make what is true not so.
Yes. That is true. Either Jesus was warning the messengers to change or He was giving a warning as a message to the messengers for them to act as messengers. Your belief and my belief has no effect whatsoever on the passage.
