I didn't mention any UK Baptist union. I linked to a website of a group called "United Baptists", but that is in the United States. Their site says: "UK Baptist union? New Zealand Baptist churches also part of the UK Baptist union.

Here in the UK there is the Baptist Union of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, usually just called "The Baptist Union." That was the denomination which Spurgeon and his church left as a result of the "Downgrade Controversy." I have been to their website, The Baptist Union: The Baptist Union and cannot see any reference to New Zealand Baptist churches being part of the Union.
