Was probably about six when I watched the original 'The Day The Earth Stood Still'. Don't think I was 'traumatized', but Gort frightened me, big time, made a huge impression.

I don't know the name, it was a B&W horror/mystery movie from the 1940's-50's where guests at a mansion would disappear or would be crushed on a canopy bed in a certain room. I was probably 4 or so...

I remember closing my eyes and holding my ears at the foot of my parents bed as we watched those terrorizing flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz.

My opinion, the scariest movie made was a 1977 release titled, ''The Sentinel''. That one still sends chills up my spine.

The House of Wax in 3D. I stayed away from windows after dark, because I feared Vincent Price was lurking just on the other side! I would have been about 10 years old.

Jaws. I couldn't swim in a pool. I'd close my eyes and think that when I opened them up again I'd be in the middle of the ocean. Kind of like the Twilight zone.

Exorcist. Very unbiblical, but as a kid who snuck into movie theaters by the back door to see movies, that one kept me up at nights.

One of the Monsters on Ultra man, or Johnny Sokko and his flying robot. There was a monster that had the stupidest sound, but it scared the daylights out of me.

First one was enough for me, only time I've ever screamed out during a movie.
Michael Myers scared a lot of folks. I am 6-6, 280lbs (about the size of the real Michael) and I dressed up like him for a party several years ago. Adults were literally scared of me.
