I would like to kindly offer if you want to translate your books into Burmese.
I am a missionary, Mei, from Burma. I live in a remote village in Yangon and am independently dedicating myself to evangelizing through outreach programs and helping vulnerable orphans.
Until 2024, we were actively working in the ministry and engaged in many activities, such as literature ministry with gospel tracts, supplying Sunday school notes to local churches, assisting orphans, conducting children’s outreach, distributing Myanmar Bibles to believers and audio players to the blind and elderly, Christmas outreach, feeding outreach, and offering translation and home church services. I have written 4 gospel tract topics, printed 8,000 copies, and distributed a total of 13,000 tracts in 2024 alone. As the Lord gave us the vision, we desired to work actively for Him, but due to the ongoing conflict in our country and many critical issues, we have faced serious challenges since early 2025. After the global pandemic and the military coup in 2021, our situation became unstable, but we were still able to manage daily life and ministry. In late 2024, the military imposed the conscription law, requiring all males between 18–35 years old to serve in the military, and took some young men near us. Our situation demanded that we move to a lower-risk area. As we couldn’t find a rental, we came to the solution of getting land with a loan, built a bamboo home, and completely moved on February 25, 2025.
We tried to settle well in the new location and resume our work, but a sudden trial struck us again. My second baby girl was born on May 4, and within 24 hours she was diagnosed with seizures and was transferred to the Children’s Hospital for a month, then required frequent hospital admissions. The medical bills, check-ups, appointments, and medication are now beyond our means, and we are struggling with daily needs. With our daily challenges, I have paused all ministry work since early 2025 and have been unable to focus on my 4 kids’ schooling.
I have been in the translation field since 2017 and have translated many Christian books, articles, tracts, and transcriptions. I have also translated Christian ministry website pages. So now I am looking for translation work. If you want to translate your books or other resources into Burmese, I can assist you with translation, design, printing, and distribution.
