The devil, the god of the darkness of this age is why Adam in the image of his Creator was created of flesh and blood for the purpose of the Word becoming flesh for the destruction of the devil and his works.

As I wrote earlier, I am not interested in debating eschatology. If you are interested in my general ideas on the subject, then please go to William Hendriksen's More Than Conquerors that I provided a link to earlier.

There seems to be a gazillion ideas about eschatology, which pretty much makes a discussion on the subject a cacophony of noise.

I am quite content with knowing that, according to 2 Peter 3:10-13, when Christ Jesus returns, that this present heavens and earth will be burned up and replaced with the new heavens and earth wherein dwells righteousness. I see no reason to argue over the details of it, as all will take place as God has ordained it will take place.

2 Peter 3:10-13 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

All of us who are in Christ will stand before Him at His judgment Seat to answer for what we have done.

This is not a judgment of sin, for those who are in Christ have no sin before God, we are righteous being "In Him."

Let me clarify something so there will be no doubt as to what I meant.

In the above post I'm not promoting sinless perfection is this life when I said, "This is not a judgment of sin, for those who are in Christ have no sin before God," I'm saying that God does not impute sin to the believer.

Rom. 4:7-8

"Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin."

The man that God will not impute sin is the believer in Jesus Christ.

Rather than imputing the sin of the believer who has been granted righteousness, God will do this.

Heb. 12:6-7

"For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?"

God will give you an old fashioned whooping if you begin to make sin a pattern with no regard to forgiveness.

But the unbeliever that sins, his sin is imputed as unrighteousness.
