Watching the NFL game on ABC. During the commercial - there was a split screen.
2/3 was the commercial - 1/3 show the game (in between plays)

Thoughts?

All Elite Wrestling(AEW) does a lot of that in their weekly shows on TBS and TNT during the commercial breaks. Personally, I prefer just showing the commercials full screen, especially if I am watching a recording, so I can save time by fast forwarding through the commercials. If they are showing action in the ring, then I stay put and mute the sound of the commercial.
