Btw, what credentials do you suggest we be proficient in in order to study & understand scriptures adequately? For example. Should we have a working knowledge of language like Koyne Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, Latin to understand context? How about history & geography in order to understand the places and times of events? Does study of scripture assure the student complete understanding?
Some believe in G-d and fall today under the Noahide Covenant (all live under the universal seven laws). Some are called into the Abrahamic Covenant of faith, some Sinai (law, precepts, and statutes), and some have confessed and repented throughout the OT-NT covenantal tree that expands both testaments (the tree that the Gentiles were grafted in) and G-d has made an everlasting Covenant w/ them through trust and confidence in G-d. Though this might be controversial (from the side of replacement theology), but regardless this has always been the same throughout the Scriptures from cover to cover. That is, soteriology has always been the same for both Jews and Gentiles. And the faithful remnant (translated as "saints") was saved in the hall of faith in Hebrews 11 before the incarnation and fulfillment of Emmanual.

My answer is those things are a sign of increased devotion in a way, but a pious life is another way. It doesn't have to be one or the other. The English translation for native English speakers is adequate, and I would say "sufficient" for everything necessary in our faith. But there are exceptions, there are very bad translations, so then, should somebody listen only to KJVO and their arguments and "just follow the bandwagon"?

Borrowed from another site. What's your take on this explanation?

The "one true church" is Jesus's body of faithful followers who may have differing doctrines but are united in their sincere devotion to follow and serve him. Jesus's church has no buildings and no payroll.
Iyts the Church Universal, Body of Christ, of all of the Redeemed in history, both those who died physically and us still now alive

What is your authority to teach?
The rc denomination's 'vicar of christ' himself declared they have the authority.
How am I prideful, I don’t follow my interpretations of Scripture saying that I am the arbiter of scriptures interpretation.
Of course you do. You decided that the rc's interpretation of Scripture is the correct one.
I only follow the interpretation of Scripture that the Apostles handed down.
Nope. You follow the denomination's interpretation that you personally think is correct.
Are you claiming you have an infallible understanding of God, His nature and plan and can teach others?

I don’t know about you, but I think I’m fantastic.

Thinking something doesn’t make it so, fortunately or unfortunately.

You need to answer the questions mate.

Just be up front and forthright and take a correction. Are you humble enough?
You have been corrected many times on these forums about some of the false teachings/doctrines of the rc denomination.

If you read the scriptures, you see one Church geographically separated with an Apostolic government of elders and Overseers put in place by the Apostles.
They were all united in the same doctrine. Paul corrected some when they strayed from same doctrine.

The Catholic Church maintains Apostolic doctrines by Apostolic Tradition handed down.

Protestantism scattered into every wind doctrine as each man interpreted as he felt on scriptures meaning. Many human founded churches were the result.
Can you list those doctrines 'handed down' by Christ's hand-picked Apostles that are not already contained in God's Word that the rc denomination possesses?

I’ve been studying Baruch Spinoza lately… he puts another spin on the entire subject and he isn’t a Goy.

BTW, my wife died of cancer in November. It’s been a struggle since we were married 38 yrs.
