Regarding Pharaoh, God had the option to strike him down long ago, yet He opted to allow him to remain as the means through which He would demonstrate His power and strength.

I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts, but I want to offer a little correction to this one. No one turns into a vessel of wrath (or even a vessel of mercy) but that was settled when God chose those to redeem via the Lamb.

If God decrees everything that happens, then sin does not exist and God cannot punish the devil or anyone else. If God wills evil, opposing evil is anti-God. Which makes Jesus not good, for He engaged in combat against Satan, hypocrites, and disease.

Satan is a created being, he is not a co-creator with God. He is as much subject to the sovereignty of God as all of the rest of God's creation.
