Trump underestimated his enemy!

I retired from the Army in 2010 after 30 years of service. Trust me when I say Trump underestimated Iran. Instead of listening to his subject matter experts, he initiated this war thinking he knew best. Typical of a narcissist of his caliber. The world gets 20% of its oil from the Persian Gulf countries. China gets 40% of its oil from Iran.

If Trump expected NATO countries to support this war with their military, he should have built a coalition of forces BEFORE he committed our military to action.
Wow! We are very privileged to have a member of Trump’s inner circle revealing classified communications and discussions between DT and his subject matter experts.

Thank you for your insider information.

Oh…, maybe you’re just another DT hater spewing hatred.

Peace to you

From the previously posted yahoo news article, which source is not a conservative source or Trump supporting outlet…

And quoting Al Jazeeera, which is also not exactly on our side either…

Here is the quote taken from the article

An op-ed published last week by Al Jazeera praised the effectiveness of the military actions taken by the U.S. and Israel.

"When you look at what has actually happened to Iran’s principal instruments of power – its ballistic missile arsenal, its nuclear infrastructure, its air [defenses], its navy and its proxy command architecture – the picture is not one of US failure. It is one of systematic, phased degradation of a threat that previous administrations allowed to grow for four decades," wrote Muhanad Seloom, an assistant professor at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.

I find it incredible how people who are so supportive of Trump are quick to call someone a hater and spewing hate simply for disagreeing with Trump or pointing out the obvious. It seems so many who are diehard Trump supporters can't stand when facts are presented that show Trump's imperfections as well as point out his lies.

I feel sorry for you and those who react as you do.

I'm 72. I agree that he's the best president I've ever had.

Are you a Trump-hater?

It's hilarious to me how tore up Trump-haters get over his intentional transparent exaggerations and embellishments.
I don't hate anyone. Why would you even assume because someone disagrees with Trump that it's because of hate?

Exaggerations and embellishments are by definition lies. Are you a Christian who thinks otherwise?

Exaggerations and embellishments are by definition lies.
They could just be huge descriptions with emphasis from perspective.

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. But if someone picks up treasure out of the trash, he is not a liar in his perspective.

Significance is the beauty in the eye of the beholder.

You are allowed to be upset with someone for their description but I disagree that it makes them a liar.

I view your description of liar as an exaggeration.

You said “trust me” and then pretended to know how DT made his decisions concerning Iran, specifically claiming he ignored his subject matter experts.

Now, trust me, either you have insider information or you are spewing propaganda, based on hatred for the man.

I have disagreed with DT on several issues.

Let’s just feel sorry for each other if that will help you get through the next couple of years.

Unless Trump runs got a third term

Peace to you

Make three terms great again!!

Can we sue on the basis of inequality and political unfairness like they do with gerrymandering?

They let themselves have three terms and said we can’t do it. I think we have a political discrimination case. And if we get to pick one President to have a third term, I pick President Trump.
That doesn’t mean I agree with him about everything. It doesn’t mean I think that he is possibly replacing Peter at the gates of heaven, and that also doesn’t mean that I think Peter is on gate duty for eternity.

I do think he is doing a better job than anyone else. And I would be willing to say that his worst day in the Alzheimer’s unit (that I don’t think he will need) would be better than the best day Congress has had in a very long time.

If you do not have specific, insider information from someone in the room with him, then your statement that “…instead of listening to his subject matter experts, he initiated this war thinking he knew best”, is a lie, based on your opinion of how you expect him to act.

That is a fact. I am amazed at how many Trump haters cannot accept facts when they are presented with them.

I can only speak for myself, I have no illusions concerning the man. He’s a bragger. He’s crude, at times. He says things that make me wince and cringe. And he’s moving this country in the right direction.

And he is still a far far better POTUS than Hilary, Biden or Harris.

Peace to you

I was in military intelligence and for the last seven years, I worked specifically in regards to Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Lebanon. As more and more comes out from the news, you're learning more about Iran's capabilities with missiles and drones. Our military has known that for years. It's also no secret that N. Korea has been supplying missiles to Iran for decades. Once Iran started launching missiles at targets in other Persian Gulf countries, Trump stated he had no idea the country had that many missiles. CENTCOM knew. He stated he had no idea Iran had that many drones. CENTCOM knew. EUCOM knew Russia was manufacturing the drones that were designed by Iran. They were not only manufacturing the drones for themselves to use against Ukraine, but for Iran as well. Military leaders wouldn't hold this information back from POTUS. So yes, Trump knew and he made the decision to pull the trigger underestimating Iran's capabilities while ignoring the intel he was being provided. I know how the system works. It's with my knowledge and experience that I can make that assessment.

So I blame CENTCOM for what you call error. They clearly have the information that they don’t share with POTUS.
