SINNING WILLFULLY, BETTER POSSESSIONS

SINNING WILLFULLY

Hebrews 10.26-31

This is one of very important subject of Paul writings revealing that it is a big difference who sin unwillingly or unknowingly and those who sin willingly and knowingly after receiving the Knowledge of Truth (26). This means being Enlightened (32) in the new Covenant of the Gospel of Christ, but returns back to the world and "who has trampled under foot the Son of GOD" (29) by joining and immersing in the iniquities, wickedness, evil, and transgressions of this world forgetting the Light of Christ and joy of His brightness of Truth, Justice, and Love.

Such people "insulted the Spirit of Grace" for which they will incur on themselves the "vengeance" (30) of GOD, Who will repay for the betrayal and insult of those who have been Enlightened and "tasted of the Heavenly Gift...Good Word of GOD" of the Holy Spirit of the Lord, and turned his/her back on Him "it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of GOD and put Him to open shame." (Hebrews 6.4-6).

This all means that no one can be sure in his or her own salvation, because we do not know ourselves, and we do not know what we are doing, and we do not know where we are standing before our GOD and what He is thinking of us. We, thinking about ourselves that we are right and good, but we may be very wrong about our own assessment and evaluation of ourselves, and reassuring ourselves that we are saved, relying only on the slogans and banners of the Bible and general promises of GOD to those who are truly His disciples, followers, and believers, and this we do besides the fact that we do not know the Opinion of GOD concerning us.

If those who experience in their life the greatest experience ever known to mankind by being filled with the Holy Spirit of GOD and perform miracle unimaginable for human beings, and then fall away from the Lord, how much more for those who are not experienced even a fraction of all these great miracles, signs, and performances of the Holy Spirit in them, and claimed that they are faithful to GOD and already saved?

1Peter 4.17-18

17. The time has come for judgment to begin with the household of GOD, if it begins with us, what will be the end for those who do not obey the Gospel of GOD?

18. And: ‘If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinners?’ (Proverbs 11.31) NRSV.

Of course, far not all sins lead to punishment by death, but some particular sins cannot be forgiven, and a person "dies without mercy" (28).

Even Judas who betrayed Christ repented by dropping the pieces of silver on the floor of the Temple, but he was not forgiven and died in terrifying Judgment (27).

31. "It is a terrifying ("fearful" NRSV) thing to fall into the hands of the Living GOD."

~ 26-31. See: Hebrews 6.4-6.

38. 'But My righteous one *shall live by faith (Habakkuk 2.4) (Hebrews 10.38), and if he **shrinks back (Psalm 119.113) (Ecclesiast 5.4) (Luke 9.62) (Hebrews 10.38), My Soul (NRSV, KSB, KJV, ESV, KSB, Russian. GNB "I will not") has no pleasure in him.'

~ 38. *By Faith in the Laws of GOD one shall live: (Ezekiel 18.9) (Habakkuk 2.4) (Galatians 3.11) (Romans 1.17) (Hebrews 10.38).

~ 38. **Shrinks back: (Luke 9.62) (Ephesians 3.12) (Hebrews 10.38) (Psalm 119.113) (Ecclesiast 5.4).

BETTER POSSESSIONS

Hebrews 10.34-36

34. You showed sympathy to the prisoners, and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an abiding one.

This is very common persecution in our world when godless authorities persecute, take property, torture, and even kill disloyal to them citizens, or frightened by opponents' ideology, or by their religion, or by the way of their thought. This happened, still happening, and will be happen to Jews and to Christians who stand firm in their believes, principals, and ideals of their Faith, the Faith which is not always confirm to the ideology and agenda of ruling classes and worldly authorities.

According to all the Warnings of GOD, of the prophets, of the Apostles of Christ, and of Revelation of John, this is exactly that had happened, happens now, and will happen in the future to all who believe in Christ.

But our Hope is not in vain, because He Who gave us His Promises is Faithful (23). Our physical material possession will not last, it will decay or will possess by others during our lifetime or after our death. We will take nothing with us then we will depart from this Earth, even our bodies will be left here.

But our spirit will inherit much more in the Kingdom of GOD than we have on Earth, we will inherit Everlasting Life and everything what come with it. We will be rich in spirit and wealthy in Love and Faith like never before, which will give us the true Happiness, Pleasure, Gladness, Satisfaction, and such Joy in GOD that we never experienced before.

35. "Therefore, do not throw away your confidence which has a great reward.
36. You have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of GOD, you may receive what was promised."

It is proves again and again that every single promise and every single word of GOD is Conditional, and in order to be saved, a person must first fulfill his\her own obligations to GOD, which means to follow His Statutes and His Commandments and do them for the rest of their lives, and only then receive his/her Reward of Salvation and Eternal Life with their GOD.

You are preaching a false gospel of works, not grace.

While it is true that we should monitor ourselves to make sure we are walking in light and obeying the Word of God, we are not to be constantly terrorized that we may go to hell. The life of a Christian must be serious and holy, but also full of joy and peace, not fear and worry.

Romans 10:9-11

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

1 John 1:4

4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 2:5,6

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

1 John 3:19-22

19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

1 John 4:17,18

17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

We know are saved because God Holy Spirit, Who indwells us, testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.

How incredibly sad so many are deceived into believing they cannot know for certain, and through fear they are manipulated into fruitless rituals and false prayers to “saints” that have no authority or power over their salvation.

We do not rely on man made works to earn salvation, we rely only upon God’s grace, given freely, not through human hands or rituals, but through the kind intention of God’s will.

Peace to you

A regenerated heart no longer loves sin the way the old nature did. There is usually conviction, grief, and a desire for restoration afterward. That difference matters.

By grace of GOD alone people are not saved, because the grace of GOD applies and works only for those people who obey and follow His Commandments and His Statutes. Only those who DESERVE the Grace of GOD are welcome by GOD and saved. It has been said that not the listeners of the Law are commended but the doers of the Law are commended by GOD. Not by repeating the slogans and banners, and not by taking out of its context the general terminology people will be saved, but only by sacrifices in life and obedient love for GOD, the salvation will come to those who are not Christians in theory and words but the Christians in Deeds in the Name of Christ.
Between us, only GOD will tell and reveal who is really preaching the wrong Gospel.

Your false gospel of works is full of errors.

Grace is undeserved divine favor granted through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. Nobody can do anything to earn salvation or to deserve grace.

We are saved by trusting in Christ, not by our own deeds.

Ephesians 2

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Well, you are preaching the Gospel of Promises, and you believe that you will be saved by these Promises without fulfilling the Conditions of these Promises. Every Statue of GOD and every Promise of GOD is CONDITIONAL. You believe that ignoring and discarding the Obligations and Responsibilities that GOD imposed on us through his Statutes and his Commandments will give you free passage to Heaven. See, you only worry and your desire is only about your rights in the Promises of GOD, but you dislike and ignore your responsibilities and Obligations that comes with the Statutes and Commandments of GOD of the same GOD. You are cherry picking form the Scripture places and passages you like and ignoring those verses what require some Works.

The problem is that the Works of the Commandments and of the Statutes of GOD always comes first, in order to receive the Promises of GOD based on these Statutes and Commandments. Because you afraid of Good Works in the Name of GOD, you turned meaning of the Scriptures up-side-down and place the Promises of GOD first as a final and only result of salvation.

Does the worker who did not work his hours will come to his boss and will demand pay from the boss, just because the boss promised him wages for his work? You have to Work first and then receive your Reward. Teachings of Jesus Christ full of these particular themes, but you, actually like many others, want to receive your Reward just because Jesus Promised it, and not because of the Obligation and Responsibility to perform you Duties, Works, and Responsibilities toward GOD as Jesus numerous times specified in His Parables and Teachings.

I am closing this conversation, because it is a waste of time to repeat same things over and over again.

Yes, it is a waste of time to keep repeating the false gospel of works.

1 John 2:25

And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
