Isaiah 2:4
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more



The time will come.

Some years ago I reviewed a book: Warlike Christians in an Age of Violence by a chap called Dr. Nick Megoran (Cascade Books, 2017. ISBN 978-1-4982-1959-4). I don't know whether it is still in print, but I do think it is worth reading, even if one disagrees with it. Dr. Megoran is eager to differentiate between pacifism and non-violence, and that which he espouses, 'Gospel Peace.'
Anyway, here is my review if anyone cares to read it. Book Review: ‘Warlike Christians in an Age of Violence’
One small update: I understand that Dr. Megoran is now an elder in the church near Newcastle UK of which he was only a member at the time he wrote the book.

"Do not repay anyone evil for evil....Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary:

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good....

13:12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
