I would look harder into the accusations.
How would our church rank? Well we probably get an F too. We don’t post our finances on our website either. We don’t even have a website.
But the people who give are welcome to attend business meetings. We share and discuss all our business in person.
Just my perspective as I look at their website.
I would say that a local church is different than a college.
In a local church, must everyone lives in the area - the church is smaller, and as you say - you can look at the finance report.
(if as a visitor, I was prohibited from seeing the finance report - well, that would be a red flag)
But with a college - you have people from all over the county coming to attend - and to property research would be hard to do because of the distance and much more detailed report, ect.
