through Romans 9......... hone in on where he talks about verse 21. I can think of one vessel to dishonor, Pharaoh and Sodom and Gomorrah not being vessels unto honor and not repenting. Lot was only mentioned in 2nd Peter about being just and his wife an two daughters being spared from destruction, and his wife being turned into a pillar of salt. Did she have eternal life? I believe so based on Abraham pleading for Lot, his wife and two daughters. Considering the two son in laws didn't listen, they weren't spared.

one other thing I thought I would mention and it doesn't appear that this board doesn't accept Predestinations at all.

Joshua was commanded to destroyed civilizations, understandably military destruction but civilians, seemed unfair but non the less and God didn't tell Joshua to destroy all, unlike the story of Jonah to warn Ninavah to preach repentance lest they be judged. So yes God is the potter and made vessels unto dishonor.

What do you mean by: " it doesn't appear that this board doesn't accept Predestinations at all."? If it doesn't appear that this board doesn't accept predestination, do you mean that it appears that this board does accept predestination? I think it must, because I believe in the biblical teaching of predestination, and I have not been reprimanded by the moderators for saying so. I fully believe verses like these from Romans:

NKJV Rom 8:29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Rom 8:30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

It looks like they cater to Bapitists and as you said they reprimanded you but looks like they allow it. As much as I appreciate those verses They can be debated. There are stronger verses such as Romans 9. The late Adrian Rogers is a great teacher to the believers stand and sanctification in Christ but as for where he picked and chose verses in Romans 9 but didn't tie in key verses to Gods providence.

You seem to have misread my post. II wrote: " I have not been reprimanded by the moderators for saying so" Anyway, I am a Baptist and this the Baptist Board, so of course they cater for Baptists. However, some Baptists believe in predestination, and some don't.

ooopps sorry I missed that, just got home from work and had to take my wife to the store. Yeah I went back and forth with local baptist who has great Calvinistic friends. Unfortunately I have to attend an Independent bible church for now and they sway toward Baptist, free will and have too many evangelists that over do it at the pulpit, the last one was atrocious.

Please don't worry about it. I have all too often been guilty of misreading posts. Thanks!
