What is your point with regard to needing to know my denomination proclivity? How is that needed to be able to respond to my comment, "just that's it never stated as such in any English Bibles that I'm aware of"?
After a certain amount of somewhat vague posts that have a leaning tendency toward discouraging people from attending the Sunday services, I wanted to know what it was that you were specifically looking to justify, meeting on a different day, or not meeting at all. These are two very different ideas and Scripture supports neither.
Romans 14:5-5
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
Colossians 2:16
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
(That is, it doesn’t make so much difference which day you meet)
And
Hebrews 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
2 Timothy 4:10
For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world,…
1 John 2:19
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
1 Corinthians 11:33
Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
Regular Christian fellowship is assumed and encouraged. It is also wise.
Proverbs 11:14
Where no counsel is, the people fall:
but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
