The only "Billy Graham" rule I am aware of is not being alone in your car with any woman who is not your wife, mother, or daughter. Jim Bakker learned the benefits of this rule the hard way and he paid for it dearly.

On BB - the BG 30 day rule means - to not say anything negative about the deceased. - After that - if you wish - you can start a NEW thread for those discussions.

Found this on the Franklin Graham FB page:
"I was saddened to hear today that Jim Bakker had passed away. Jim was responsible for giving Samaritan’s Purse our first major television exposure, and I will be forever grateful for his support and help. Jim enjoyed helping other people. He showcased many ministries on his program and introduced numerous preachers of the Gospel to a much broader audience. The last time I saw him was a few days before my father’s funeral in Charlotte, NC. He came by my office to see me and give his personal condolences. I asked him if he would be at the funeral, and he said, “Am I invited?” I told him that he was absolutely invited and that my father would be disappointed if he wasn’t there. Jim was a friend, and he will be missed. My prayers are with his family."

Praying for Jim Bakker's family and everyone who loved him. Death puts a lot in perspective, doesn't it. Whatever our opinions were about a man's ministry, heaven is about grace, and nobody gets there on their resume. I hope his loved ones feel God's comfort close today. Lord, wrap this family in Your peace and remind them of the hope we have in Jesus.

Understood - I guess I was just being snarky!;) Perhaps Billy Graham had a list of rules like Agent Gibbs in NCIS?

And I did not mean it as negative per se. I believe that he faithfully endured God's chastening and learned from it which is far more than you can say about others which we will not name here! One might even consider this a compliment of sorts!:Cool
