I recall during Trump's campaign in 2016, him saying he could prevent wars with a phone call, and wars within 24 hrs. I also recall him stating after the 2024 election, he would end the war between Russia and Ukraine before he entered office. Now that he claims Zelensky could have ended the war but refused. Now he makes a diesel fuel deal with a country that supports Iran. Whose side is Trump on?
Some may think this diesel fuel deal with Russia benefits the US. It doesn't. Trump is doing this to hurt Canada, the country where 84% of the diesel fuel we import comes from. That's 4% of the diesel fuel our country consumes. We import 0.06 barrels of diesel annually. That diesel fuel supplies the northeastern states of the US. Because there are no refineries there, it's cheaper to import diesel from Canada for that region rather than ship it from the refineries in Louisiana and Texas.
Trump is vindictive. He isn't someone that can be trusted. More and more people who had supported him are now realizing that.
