The radical Muslims have Uthman Farooq and Sayyid Qutb.
The Zionists have Benjamin Netanyahu and Ben Gvir.
And the Christians - God help us! - have Pete Hegseth and the Christian Nationalist pastor Douglas Wilson.

Their beliefs differ, yes, but their methods are the same. All of them wolves.

Preterists love, what the Bible calls, this present evil world. Therefore, Preterist Theology opposes Biblical Zionism and the,yet to come, Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ.

You apparently have no clue what we believe. And your two "therefores" are neither correct nor connected.

I noticed the article left out Trump. Is that because he may not be a Christian or wolf?

We never want to understand but we love to hate. I have never kept a count but the times are many since 1995 that folks have insinuated and sometimes straight out called me a liar about the Ruach (Holy Spirit) indwelling my body. Yashua promised The Helper, Ruach, and scripture teaches He will lead us to live for YHWH.

America? Have we studied the Minor Prophets? I have and my current study is a journey through their writings and if you want to know why the World hates us, the answer and our future is found there.

Edom's symbol was an Eagle in a nest of stars. The book of Obadiah is one of the very shortest books in the Holy Scripture and the prophetic writings have been true twice and I see them being fulfilled today. Rome was the second Edom with it's symbol of the Eagle in the nest of stars.

And today America, with it's Eagle in the nest of stars is hated throughout the world because we, like Edom and Rome have become full of ourselves and believe that no matter our course, YHWH will bless us.

If you endeavor to study the Minor Prophets with our future in mind it should worry the living snot out of you the meaning of these Words from God.

I would not discount your concerns and some are actually worthy of consideration.

I would rather the Federal Government NOT formulate their foreign policy based upon what their perception is regarding end-time prophecy or whatever. I disagree with unconditional support of the modern nation of Israel based upon a strict interpretation of Gen 12:1-3!

I would say that the Israeli people simply wish to live in peace and would rather not have to deal with Islamic extremists hell-bent on wiping them off the map! Hamas is an extremist terrorist group who has no intention whatsoever in coexisting with Israel and I believe it is good and right for the United States to stand with the Israelis and assist them however they can.

I do not see how Doug Wilson is in the mainstream of American Christian thought. He gets quite a bit of media attention in the same way that Steven Anderson does but do either of these really have any significant influence over the rest of evangelical Christianity aside from the media intent on paint all of evangelical Christianity to express such views? I believe it is good for a Christian to be patriotic, to love his or her country and to be "Salt and Light" wherever they may happen to have influence. I am against Christians "Taking Over' and establishing a theocracy but where is there such a concerted effort to do so?

I would extend this to Americanism.

On one side we have the liberal movement, politically embodied in the DNC. These people are anti-American, anti-American values. This is the group that feasts on false propaganda and conspiracy theories about Israel, about exaggerated racism, about the US as an empire, about the US seeking to rule the world, etc.

But insofar as my concern, which is God's kingdom, these are wolves who are proud to be wolves. They do not hide it.

Then you have the conservative right wing side, embodied in the GOP. This group is no less wolves but they are wolves in sheep's clothing. They appear to hold Christian values, but once you scratch the surface the facade falls apart.

Democrats, radical Muslims, etc. may be a danger to our nation but they are no danger to our faith.

The GOP, however, is the greater danger as they exchange the gospel of Christ for a political gospel.

Going by what he himself has said, and on his sordid past that he shows no remorse, I would have a hard time thinking he is a Christian.
The President made the profession of faith early in his first term. Matt. 7:1-6 apply here and one secret, if YHWH did not accept President Trump's repentance then I must be going to Hell also! But I am indwelt with Ruach and know I am saved because of His presence. It is a bad thing to judge folksinto Hell.

I was very careful in how I phrased my doubts about Trump. You ignored all that and put judges robes on me.

Since you brought up Matt. 7 let's go down further in the chapter:
"A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!"
-Matt. 7:18-23

There are plenty of other passages that show that mere profession of faith in Christ - if totally lacking any fruit - is no proof of regeneration.

BTW, Yahweh is the covenant name for Israel. If you use the Old Testament name for God it ought to be El Shaddai. A study of the occurrences of these names in the OT would substantiate this.

I pretty much agree with most of this. Except to say that there are more than two sides on this issue. I am not for the GOP any more. They have gone too far afield. But neither do I care for the liberal left. I am libertarian, for the most part. Both major wings, left and right, push for greater government control on citizens, although in different ways. I believe government should no longer infringe on inherent rights. Rather they should focus on legitimate national defense, domestic tranquility and safety, and infrastructure. Things like that.

A statesman is a respected, skilled, and experienced political leader or government official who demonstrates exceptional wisdom, integrity, and vision in guiding public affairs. I don't see anyone in Congress who fits that description. There are some who started that way, but political power has corrupted them. I think the last statesmen we had in the White House was Reagan. He knew how to work both sides of the aisle.

My first presidential election was in 1976 and the candidates for president were Carter and Ford. I voted for Ford because I had lived in Georgia while Carter was president. He messed things up badly there.

Ever since then, it seems like each presidential race were faced with selecting the worst of two evils. Look now at how campaigns are run. Candidates spend more time telling us why we should not vote for the other candidate than telling us what they want to accomplish if elected or reelected. Occasionally there's a candidate for Congress who focuses on what he/she hope to accomplish, but once office it's not long before they are changed.

Some people claim the swamp is all the non-elected bureaucrats in DC. It's not just them, but it's those who have been serving in Congress for decades as well.

Once again, I'll be going the polls to choose a candidate for the Senate to represent Georgia. Both have campaigned mostly telling us why we should vote for the other guy. I'll do what did when voting in the previous presidential election. I'll write in Jesus' name. Maybe it will plant a seed in whoever checks my ballot. I don't find that a wasted vote at all.

Absolutely! This is where we really need to examine our thinking! Far too many equate conservatism with Christianity and in many cases, it was the religious Jews and Zealots in Jesus's day who were the "MAGA" (MIGA) crowd!

I love this country and am proud to have served in its military but my citizenship is in heaven and I am commanded to preach the Gospel to all people regardless of nationality or political persuasion and the "politicization" of Christianity really puts a stumbling block in the way.

God will take care of Israel and I truly believe that one day, he will replace their heart of stone with a heart of flesh but until then, they will continue in their willful ignorance and rejection of Messiah. In the meantime, there are muslims living all around me who are more than happy to engage with me if I would just put myself out there and show them a little respect!

Another danger is the opposite of what you said is just as wrong (that liberalism aligns with our faith). Christianity stands apart from secular politics. We are not of this evil world, this evil age. We are sojourners.

That old saying is true - what do you get when you mis Christianity with politics? You get politics.

I am amazed at the Christians who view Trump as one of them when if he were a member of their congregation they (if a biblical church) would "turn him over to Satan" in the hope that he would repent.

Do we know he is not saved? Yes (his statement about his hope). Christians who ignore that and instead accept his profession at face value are satanic in that they are obstacles to the faith.

What if instead of political posturing Christians told Trump that he will not "get to heaven" by doing more good than bad?

What if instead of accepting a general confession of belief that is negated by other confessions he has made believers chose to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with Trump?

Mormons confess to be Christian. We cannot accept people as Christian because they are powerful, worldly people and we want to call them one of us. It is a betrayal of our faith, but it is also committing evil against those people as they need to be rejected and explained the gospel.

I agree that there are more than two sides. I just use the DNC and GOP as they are the two strongest forces for evil in the US at this time.

But yes, there are many sides. We have independents, the Green party, Constitution party, Libertarian party....etc.

They are all wolves.

Democrats, Republicans, Independents, the Constitution party, Libertarians, Green party, etc. may be different but they are the same evil.
