How do you figure the Lord Jesus did not experience the wrath of God (against sin)?

I'm not understanding what you're saying. The sacrifice of the Lord Jesus covers all sins, past, present, future. Are you saying something different?

No, He does not excuse past sins. The Lord Jesus suffered and died for those sins.

I think the teaching of the Nicolaitians was separation of the congregation from the clergy, as though the latter is somehow superior to the other, that is, that clergy is above the laity.
