The NT view though seems to be to preach and teach the scripture sin full confidence of the truth within them, as the Holy spirit Himself will then be freed up to deal with their objections!

Again, if Andy Stanley denied the Christ’s resurrection, you’d race to defend him.

He does nothing wrong in your eyes.

 

Why 'The Bible Says So' Is Not Enough Anymore

What you say Stanley believes is not what he believes.

 

He believes the Bible is infallible(w/o error) in everything it affirms. That’s a rather ambiguous statement. Because he said the creation myth in Genesis.

Again, if he openly denied the resurrection of the Christ, you would defend the man.

 

He believes the literal creation in Genesis. It would be nice if you knew what he said instead of snippets.

 

I’ve listened to 4-5 of his speeches and he spends more time deconstructing the Bible than expounding upon it.

 

And it seems as if other saw Stanley blowing his nose they’d charge him with heresy..

I think their is a large middle ground.

I haven’t listened to many sermons by Andy Stanley but I’ve heard a few.
They are well crafted. Listening to a sound bite just doesn’t get his pint across.
I’m very willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, particularly observing his successful ministry, evangelism and discipleship.

On the other hand I’m quite wary of Ken Ham and his organization.
He is pointedly aggressive and antagonistic toward those who disagree with his particular brand of young earth creationism.

Stanley believes in the flood.

 

Do you know why we love the Book so much? Because we believe its tangible evidence of God, so we hold dear to it (which we should), BUT, do you know God feared this? He knew at the same time it would be a great help mate for Us, He also knew it would be a 'crutch for us. Meaning you'll refer to it more then what's inside your heart and that's the folly. If we are "born again", God is living inside us and if you could measure the size of this moment that it happens, then you could compare it to the portions in my video where it shows how BIG He is and how small we are. This seed inside us, is a very very small little Light and yet in another way it fills every part of us, if we're "born again". When it was planted in our souls, it infected us like a flame on fire, but your eyes can't see it (if you could see it, you'd find we are bathed in it. It moves and dances all thru us, just like a fire would if you were watching a camp fire. Our souls have been ignited, before that moment, they were empty silhouettes).
Don't throw rocks at silhouette, it passes right thru them.

When you stand before a "silhouette", show them the FIRE within you. You have God inside you and He knows exactly what a silhouette needs to hear to see His Light and to feel His Light (His Spirit). You don't need a "book" to be YOUR words, you need the book to be your witness.

Andy needs to see a Light, not a rock, he don't feel those.

 

When a "born again" person witnesses to a non "born again" person, do you know what is taking place, that you don't see?
Your Flame/Light/Spirit of God is Igniting! Flames are shooting from you like a WILD FIRE out of control! You can feel it inside you! It starts to break your Heart and you might even start shaking a bit (not referring to ANY religion).
The Fire shoots at the silhouette, attacking it,...feeling it.
Do you know how to ignite your Flame? You watch where your walking (feet) and open your Mouth (head) and let God say to the silhouette, what needs to be said.

Ignite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

The Father GAVE a GIFT (His Son), The Son can Send you a Gift and so can You.

Give the Gift of God, present it to the silhouettes that come into your lives, but BEFORE you do, SHOW Them and Tell Them about the Gift inside YOU.

 

Do truly understand the power your capable of harnessing.
You have the power to shake a Chalice and you don't know it.

 

When the light was removed from us in the beginning, God found a way to give it back.

It's time to gather our brothers and sisters and go HOME!

 

No more than the Father wanted you to use the book for a crutch..so the same with Jesus, not wanting you to use His death for a Crutch. It's all about the LIGHT, that YOU, use to have IN YOU. You lost it, you fell prostrate and were gathered into a handful of silhouettes. A plan was made to Give you the Gift of Light (The Father and Son's SPIRIT>The Holy Spirit) back. God sent His Son to handle it and He did with His LIFE. Silhouettes killed Jesus. Majestic Sacrifices were made to save you at a greater cost than whats been told. A path of Light was made for Us, few will find it, unless we ignite.

The Gift God sent?

It isn't the Father.
It isn't the Son.
It's the Light Jesus came to give to those who "repent". He is the Great Redeemer of mankind. No one but Him decides who will receive God's Holy Spirit back.

He is the ONLY WAY to the TRUTH of LIFE itself.

It's a Tapestry of Love, woven by the Faith of a Father (head ((thought)) and a Son's (foot ((actions)) SPIRIT, that as the ability to bind Us all together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
