You're correct to a point. What God wants us to be & do IS revealed in His Word! What He's seen fit to NOT reveal to us.....He hasn't. IMHO we try to make the created THE one to tell God what He should & shouldn't do. Wasn't that what LUCY FUR tried to do??!!??

I believe you know the KJVO side started the ad-hominem attacks to try to make up for their lack of facts supporting their doctrine, which is clearly man-made. And what brings about attacks on the KJV itself is the claim that "the KJV is perfect".

The world will end too. But how? We'll need to wait and see. You don't know the details until God fulfills them.

    @George Antonios:

Apologies for my replies that are off-topic, but I'd like to make one more effort to get through to roby in the hope that he will listen to God's words.
    No, it is not.
In fact, what you are advocating is entirely within man's methods of solving problems, and not God's.
Would that be the same Lord Jesus Christ who said, " Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." ( Matthew 26:52 )?

    Respectfully,
I think that you should look at that again.
I understand your feelings on the matter, and I also agree with you.
What I don't agree with is how you would have them "called down" for it.
I agree, except to say that I believe that those who actively and unrepentantly promote false doctrines are not Christians in the biblical sense ( and never were ),
even if they loudly profess Him as Savior.

But not one of us should be verbally lambasting anyone, Roby.
Not you, not me, and not anyone else who believes on Christ.
Not at all, and I think my point has gone right over your head.
Again, WE are not Jesus Christ, and WE are not God.

    What He did was done in perfect righteousness and in the authority of God;
We're not God, and we're not vested with the authority to go beyond His express commandments.

He has established what our conduct towards both believers and unbelievers is to be in many passages.
Romans 12 comes to mind, as does Colossians 3:1-25, 1 Thessalonians 4:1-12, 1 Thessalonians 5:12-22, Galatians 5:13-26, Ephesians 4:1-32 and many others.
    I agree...
Except for the things where He commanded us, through His apostles, to conduct ourselves in a certain way.

See immediately above for some of the Scripture passages where these are found.

And we are not to stand there and bash people who bash us.
We are to commit such things to God...

"Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." ( Romans 12:19 ).
    With respect,
May you awaken to the fact that your attitude about this matter is entirely outside of what the Lord Himself proscribes for our behavior.

    That said,
To save us both the trouble of further contention ( and to keep from filling up forum space with reproofs that keep going unheeded, from my perspective ), I will not speak of this to you again.
I'm sure that many here will be relieved to read this ( including you ), but I don't much care about what others think...
I feel that I had to at least try to get through to you. ;)

From here on out I will count you as someone who rejects His words in many areas,
and put you back on ignore so as not to see you constantly bashing people who disagree with you...myself or anyone else.
Simply put, if you cannot be civil, I'll have no part in making any further replies to you.

    Good evening to you, sir.

Then you have no Scripture worthy to be called God's word. I am grateful for those of us who do for we have what you do not - God's revelation of Himself to man, a standard by which we can test doctrine.

You, on the other hand, do have more freedom in the sense you get to decide what parts of the Bible to believe and which parts to toss out with the garbage as corrupt. But in the end you have a subjective Scripture of your own choosing.

I would not trade God's revelation for your freedom.
