Path of this America

You do understand Ehrman is an apostate. He used to claim to be a Christian, but now is an atheist.
He may be a 'religious' man with an education, but not a Born-Again Christ follower.
Is this like the lead me not into temptation for I would not follow your rules.

No. It is not about rules, it is about following Christ.
The “ Lord’s Prayer “ I often thank God for the temptations. The women who wanted me to violate marriage. The treasure exposed to temp stealing. The command from bosses to bear false witness for wealth. If not rules why did He give us 10 we absolutely must obey?

I don’t think most Saudi’s, Japanese, Hindu’s, native Americans, Jews, Arabs, Blah blah blah blah are going down that road. So let’s let the other shoe drop, are they, the Christ non believers all going to hell?

I do not understand your response.

@Mikoo asked a legitimate question since you have recommended Ehrman's teachings.

But Ehrman denounced Christianity over 20 years ago (about the time he was caught in those sexual misconduct actions).

One cannot be a Christian while rejecting that Jesus is God and rejecting the Resurrection of Christ. The sexual misconduct just pointed to the depravity of the man.

None of what he says makes sense.
A second ago he said that he was glad for the temptation of the women who tempted him to be unfaithful as opposed to the way Christ prayed lead us not into temptation.
He is clearly not a disciple of Christ. He does not follow Christ. He teaches the opposite.

There is no other name in heaven or earth by which one must be saved.

Very easy if you believe what scripture says. Mon believers will not go to heaven

Peace to you

Exodus 20 gives us the first 10 commandments of OT Law. There are over 600 total.

If you violate one, you violate all and stand condemned before God.

This, the need for a Savior where salvation is not based on what you do but Who you have a relationship with.

Peace to you

Priorities to get the world to be a planet of peace snd loving Everyman.
That’s Jesus’s job when He returns. Until He returns, no peace, no love for every person. Just chaos.

If you read the Bible, instead of atheists, you will understand.

Peace to you

Have you read the texts studying the Bible?
I have read through the Bible several times and read numerous commentaries on specific passages of study.

There are several folks on BB, both women and men, that are excellent scholars in the biblical languages, church history, theology and more that you could learn a great deal from, if you are actually here to learn.

I have never cared to read what an atheist thinks about any passage of scripture.

Peace to you
