I was surprised you didn't catch the what looks likes a contradiction in John 19:13.

You're pretty sharp at noticing these things in the past and I was waiting for to bring it up.

John said it around the 6th hour/12 noon when this trial was taking place with Christ and Pilate.

Luke leads us to believe it was around the 1st hour/ 6am.

Here is an example beyond a doubt that John was using Roman time when he said the 6th hour/6am, the same time as Luke.

That is exactly right! So if I am correct with a Wed. crucifixion and I'm sure I am, the High Sabbath day fell on Thur. with Christ crucified on Wed. the preparation day. The High Sabbath day was followed by Fri. the preparation day for the weekly Sabbath on Sat.

If you just drop trying the match and place together the info from the 4 Gospels and just stick with the words of Christ that He would be in the tomb 3 days and 3 nights, the only possible time of crucifixion would be Wed.

It makes sense because John was well known by the Romans and had connections with them the other disciples didn't have.

Remember at the trial the Romans gave John permission to enter in the courtyard with the High Priest, and John brought Simon Peter in.

So the High Priest knew John well enough to grant him entrance.

Luke 22:1, Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

[The Ezekiel's restored temple observance.

Ezekiel 45:23, And seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to the LORD, seven bullocks and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a kid of the goats daily for a sin offering. ]

The Passover sin offering.

Numbers 28:22, And one goat for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you.

Numbers 28:24, . . . After this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

Again, Preparation of the Passover has 7 days.
The day of Preparation is that one day before the Sabbath.

You're getting it all mixed up! Ezekiel 45:23 is referring to the future sacrifices and the way they will be conducted during the Millennial Reign of Christ.

Just as in the OT with certain Holy Days there will be the same in the future reign of Christ, but they are conducted according to Christ being here on earth vs. the coming of Christ in the OT.

If you read the last 8 chapters of Ezekiel you will learn of the new temple and virtually a map of the division of the land in Israel to the tribes, the feasts that will take place and the way they will be conducted during that 1000 years.

You will learn of the Priests of Israel (Jews) that will tend to all the sacrifices as they were intended to do from the beginning. A parcel of land specifically for the Priests near the temple. A huge park in Jerusalem for the people and so much more.

The New Israel that will be divided among the tribes of Israel will take in all of Syria and Lebanon, half of Saudia Arabia, to the Euphrates River in Iraq, and back to the Nile River in Egypt. Oh, and all of Jordan.

Getting way off topic here, but just one more thing I have to say since we've come this far.

The temple the anti-Christ sits in and declares he is God, as Paul told us, is the 3rd temple that Covenant theology tells us will not be built.

When Trump takes care of Iran and gets the Middle East ready again for his Abraham Peace Accords that he started in last tern and then covid came, guess what will soon begin happening?

Israel will begin making plans to build a 3rd temple.
