WHO IS THE SON OF GOD?

In order to make more clear for Jews, Who the Son of GOD really is, Paul announced that the Son is the Radiance of His Father and of His glory, and Exact Representation of His Father's Nature. In other words, 100% Copy of His Father's Image in everything, in Form and in Spirit. It is similar to that if we look at the mirror and see our own image, and whatever we think, and whatever we say, and whatever we do at this moment, our own image reproduces it immediately. Now imagine, if you make your own image alive, with all physical, intellectual, and spiritual attributes you have, this will be the perfect clone of your own being in everything you consist of, with the same form, with the same thoughts, with and the same mind, and with the same spirit.

This means that whatever you think, your clone things the same, and whatever you said the clone said the same, and whatever you do, the clone does the same as your own mirror image. The Jesus Christ is the same mirror Image of His Father GOD and contains everything the same as His Father contains, all the Spiritual and Intellectual Attributes. Both of Them have the same thoughts and the same Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1.26-27, 5.1, 9.6) (1Corinthians 11.7-10) (2Corinthians 4.4) (Ephesians 4.24) (Colossians 1.15, 3.9-10) (Hebrews 1.3).

In verse 5 Paul continue this theme and asked a question, "To which of the angels did He (Father) ever say, 'You are My Son, today I have begotten You.' And again, 'I will be a Father to Him, and He shall be a Son to Me.' (Psalm 2.7) (Isaiah 42.1) (Matthew 3.17, 12.18, 17.5) (Mark 9.7) (Luke 9.35) (Acts 13.33) (Hebrews 1.5, 5.5).

In verse 6 Paul also stated about Christ that He is the First-Born of His Father, indicating by this that Christ is the First Born before all other creations came to be, and He, the GOD Father brought His First-Born Son into the world. Jews are very well aware of it, they know the Scripture and all the prophets who prophesied about Christ, and there is no argument about it.

Similar to these statements Paul also reveals in the following verses, pointing to the Son of GOD as the Messiah, on Whom the Jews place their hope.

In verse 9 Paul described character of the Son of GOD, mentioning that He loves righteousness and hated lawlessness, and His GOD Father anointed Him with the oil of gladness (Isaiah 61.1-3) (Psalm 45.6-7) (John 3.34) (Philippians 2.9-11). Jesus Himself number of times called His Father as His GOD, pointing that He is the Son Who subordinate and obedient to His Father always.


In verse 13 Paul reveal Who actually sit at the right hand of GOD and Who is the second in charge after the GOD Father. Paul created a scenario saying, "To which of the angels has He (Father) ever said," and then quoted Words of GOD: 'Sit at My (Father's) right hand, until I make Your (Christ's) enemies a footstool for Your (Christ's) feet?'

It is not the Christ Who will subdue His enemies, but the GOD His Father will subdue the Christ's enemies to Him, because by the power of the Holy Spirit of His Father the Christ able to speak, able to teach, able conduct miracles and signs, able to heal, and even able resurrect the dead. Without His Father Christ will be just ordinary man. The whole power of Jesus Christ is always coming from His Father, and not from the Christ Himself. Christ is GOD because He is the Image of GOD, otherwise He would not be a GOD. In other words, the Life of Christ in Heaven and on Earth is fully and completely empowered by His Father, about which Christ Himself testified many times.

This is just the beginning of Paul explanations to Hebrews. Because Paul exclusively wrote this Epistle only to His people the Hebrews who know the Law very well, Paul gently and decisively connected Jesus Christ to the Messiah, for Whom Jews wait to come.

Paul slowly, carefully, and accurately will lead everything he had said about the Son of GOD and Messiah and connected it to Christ, pointing out that the Son of GOD is Messiah - Jesus Christ, the Son and only Son of GOD Father. The general message of Paul is that Christ came to Earth as a humble Man and was rejected by the world, but in His second coming He will reveal Himself fully in the glory and the power of His Father.

Oh, I see where you got this talk about a 'first born'; modern re-writes, because otherwise it is not mentioned in Hebrews 1, like that.

"Firstborn among many brethren" is a biblical phrase from Romans 8:29 (KJV/NKJV), referring to Jesus Christ as the Preeminent, Resurrected Head of a family of believers.

Revelation 1:5 gives the Bible reference for defining Jesus, when He is said to be the Firstborn. Jesus was the Firstborn when He was Resurrected from the dead.

Figurative/Theological Meaning: Refers to the highest-ranking or preeminent person, such as in Colossians 1:15 ("Firstborn of all Creation") or Colossians 1:18 and Revelation 1:5 ("Firstborn from the dead").

Meaning of "Firstborn" (Prototokos): It indicates priority of rank, authority, and status, rather than merely being the first in time.

Jesus holds the Highest Position as the First to be Resurrected and Glorified.

Prototokos (πρωτότοκος) is a New Testament Greek word meaning "firstborn," combining protos (first) and tikto (to beget/bear). It generally refers to the first in a chronological line of children.

However, it is frequently used to denote a position of preeminence, superiority, or heirship (e.g., Colossians 1:15), indicating the most important or honored.

As you went down Hebrews 1, you skipped vs 8.

It plainly shows us where God the Father addresses Jesus and God the Father calls Jesus, "God".

8 "But unto the Son He saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of Righteousness is the sceptre of Thy Kingdom."

"Wonderful Counselor" and "Mighty God" are titles from Isaiah 9:6 in the Bible, Prophesying the Nature of the Messiah and calls Jesus "Mighty God"

These titles describe Jesus as a Divine Source of Supernatural Wisdom, Guidance, and Infinite Power...

In fact, that same verse describes Jesus by the Name "Everlasting Father".

"Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" in Isaiah 9:6.

A sense of subordination to God the Father is shown in the Bible verse describing Jesus Handing over the Kingdom to God the Father in 1 Corinthians 15:24.

This verse states: "Then comes the End, when He Helivers the Kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power".
This occurs after Christ has defeated all enemies, including death, at Jesus Second Coming, which may be at any second.

There is a Divine Order of the Divine Persons in the Triune Godhead, which has to do with the Offices held by Jesus and the Holy Spirit. God the Father holds no Office.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God, and the second Person in the Triune Godhead.

There is no cause for ever having any notion of the Triune Godhead being split apart.

The Lord God Jesus was never Created, or had a beginning, as if He was birthed.

There has always been the Eternal Logas, expressing and speaking the Word of God.

Jesus' Eternal Sonship is expressed by that word 'always', in Proverbs 8:30.

"Then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him: and I was daily His Delight, rejoicing always before Him";

There was never a time in all of Eternity Past, when Jesus wasn't rejoicing before God the Father, because the Bible says He was "always".
