Me4Him, that's even more offensive than the old saying that "God picks the prettiest flowers for His bouquet." Ack.

"WHAT'S" so offensive about God reaping souls regardless of which route man takes, salvation/damnation????

I "think" there's a "serious" lacking of "understanding".

God promoting abortion is also God promoting murder. This goes against His commandments. God does not contradict Himself.

LOL! I am *SO* tempted to accuse you of saying God is the author of abortion. It would be poetic justice, but I'll refrain. ;)

No one said anything about "GOD PROMOTING" abortion, God only collects the souls of "innocent blood" as the result of murder.

People who support abortion are as guilty as the doctor with the knife in his hand.

2Jo 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11 For he that biddeth him God speed (good luck) is partaker (as guilty) of his evil deeds.

How many people are guilty of voting for a "Son of satan" that support abortion to be President, Senator, Congressman, they're as guilty as the abortion doctor.

The abortion doctor wouldn't perform abortions if he was saved, both he and the child could be saved,

but the doctor performs many abortion, his soul goes to hell, the babies to heaven, taking the place of all the souls of abortion supporter who also "could have" gone, except for their sin.

Issac replaced Esau because of his sin, and babies souls are replacing the souls of adult, because of their sin.

God "taking the Children" is the results of man's sin, not God's, its the way the "System" works out.

I'll accept that, at least until you're "wise" enough to recognize your "mistake". :D [IMG] [IMG]

"THEN" I expect a full page apology. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    Amen.

These things I know from Scripture:

    Abortion is murder.

    Murder is forbidden.

Therefore, I need to oppose abortion.

Persistant rebellion results in storing up wrath until the day of God's wrath (Rom. 2:5).

Infants aren't capable of rebelling against God before they know the difference between right and wrong.

    God desires that none perish.

God turns the evil of man into good (Joseph).

    God is victorious over Satan.

Some children seem to be "holy" on the basis of a believing parent (1 Cor. 7:14).

God foreknows each person before he created the universe.

Some persons foreknown by God are the elect.

    Not everybody is elect.

I don't know everything God knows.

Therefore, I don't know if every infant that dies goes to heaven, but it seems from Scripture that some do.

They all do, Paul. Or Jesus would not have made the blanket statement He did about their angels always seeing the face of the Father. They are all covered by His blood and none of them is old enough to consciously rebel and be separated from Him due to that rebellion.

I think I was the first to ask this question and it sure started a debate among us all and caused us to really look inside of ourselves. I just wanted to put "real life" situations to predestinated to go to Heaven or Hell.

God foreknows every person before the foundation of the world. He foreknows some to be in Christ and others to be outside of Christ.

    Helen,

Can you give me a Scripture reference for the angels comment. I would like to look it up.
    Thanks.

Since all are sinners by virtue of Adam's sin, it may be irrelevent if an infant is too young to know right from wrong. God knows these persons from before the foundation of the world.

I know that there are references in Scripture to children being under the age of accountability, so certainly that may apply.

But ultimately, God's foreknowledge of who is in Christ determines whether or not they are in heaven.

10": Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

God knew in advance ABOUT every person before the foundation of the world. God FOREKNOWS (as in knows intimately) only the elect.

    ...as opposed to...

If the Lord doesn't know someone He did not foreknow them -- they are not among the elect , they are not among His sheep -- they are in-fact goats . Take a look at Matthew 25:31-46 .

Evidently not many have "meditated" on the scriptures long enough to see how they apply here in the "real world" either.

I don't think many realize that the "Spiritual" Truth of Bible/doctrine is manifeasted here in the "Physical" world.

Personally, I think most need to put the books down, take a walk in the woods or get in the closet, spend a little more time one on one, you'd be surprised what you can learn without a book in front of you. [IMG] [IMG]

And if God through his "Sovereign will",.."predestined".. the abortion doctor to murder the babies, then the "SIN" belongs to God not the doctor,

man doesn't have a "will" free from God's will under Calvin's doctrine.
