Good morning everyone!

It's a beautiful spring day here, Sue! You'll have to come visit. (might want to wait till this pm though, can't walk through my house right now) All the neighbors Bradford pear trees are blooming. My own pears are Bradford but they are beginning to bloom. The forsythia is also blooming and the daffodils. I'm going to have to spend some time outside here this coming week looks like. The back yard is a mess, there are tons of iris' that need transplanting, and the pool pump needs working on so I can open the pool here soon.

Today though has been spent resting! After the last couple of weeks of non stop activity, we needed it. Chris' migraine broke yesterday and then tried to return this morning. I think the Relpax took care of it though. I hope so cause the next thing will be a trip to the hospital for IV drugs and we both hate that!

I'm going to attempt to recover my house now that Dad's dogs have gone home. I am not an indoor dog person!

Better pull myself away from this computer and do somethimg. See ya!

Just glad I'm thru with schooling stuff, less of course ya count all the self training I'm doing learning how to properly & legally set up this business!!
I just got an unwanted & unplanned bath. Went out to water Sam, I fill up a 5 gal. bucket for her every few days, was taking it back in the pen & ....well I need to learn to pick my feet up better! Me & bucket both went flyin..with the contents coming down on me!! So now I'm dryin off & nursing a banged up knee! I just know that dog was snickerin' as I headed back to the house.
Gotta start packing up some of Jerry's stuff to carry to the storage so I guess I'll be back later...if I can hobble in that is!

A little late, but it looks as though things have been quiet. I'm turning BH loose but she'll proably just go to her rockin chair, we've been playing all night. Me & Agee have been laughing so hard we'll both be sore tomorrow!
I'll leave a light on over the counter, brought in some apple fritters & fixed some fresh coffee in case of late visitors. Have a blessed nite!!

Apple fritters sound wonderful. Don't do that to me, I just got back from the store after a sudden fit of needing cherry popsicles! (don't feel too hot tonight) I ended up buying them because I told the kids I would, but I changed my mind and decided I wanted mint ice cream, then on my way out decided chocolate would be better so now I have all three. I had a bit of the ice cream.

Ok Preacher, if you get a minute run up to theology and answer my question on progressive sanctification. Otherwise, I'm gonna get bombarded with all them types that call themselves Reverand instead of Preacher and use 12 syllable words instead of English and I'll walk away not knowing what hit me, and still have no answer. Hayulp!

Good morning all,

It is cold here this morning and I was greeted with bad news. :(

Not a good way to start a new week (or any week for that matter).

My DIL, Brandy (Vern's wife) moved out of her mother's house in Wisconsin and moved to Illinois a month ago. They were not on speaking terms when she left and Brandy has not contacted her mother since she left to let her know where she was and that the grandkids were all right.

Brandy's mother was found dead yesterday morning. I just received a phone call about it this morning.

Lots of prayer needed in this situation folks, for everyone concerned.

I have been on the phone quite a bit this morning and Brent is waiting for breakfast.

I will be back later,

Oh my goodness, Sue! I'll certainly be praying.

Good morning!

It's a beautiful day here with temps already in the 60's. Spring appears to have sprung! Thank the Lord.

This week should be a little slower than the last few. The shot Chris got on Friday seems to have broken up his migraine for good. He kind of had one yesterday because we had a weather system move through, but the Relpax seems to have taken care of that and he was up and cheerful this morning. Too cheerful actually. He was busy making up songs about his sisters and boogers. As bad as that is, it's a good sign that he's feeling fine for a change. Pray that this lasts through the much bigger weather system that is supposed to arrive on Thursday. This one is supposed to last a few days. :( The weather guys are saying that this might be the first severe weather of the season.

I've started on the day already and have several things left to do, so, I'd better get off here and get back to work.

Sue, I will be praying for this situation.

It's a bit cooler here today. We had some rain overnight and it was sort of foggy this morning.

Ya'll have a great day!

Hey all,

I dropped by for just a moment, with a quick question:

How do I get the password for the private ladies forum? Are there any special guidelines?

Gina, I took a quick look at your slide show, and it looks quite nicely done. FYI...When I clicked on the button, lower right-hand corner on the first link you gave, to expand to full screen, I got an error message at the bottom of the window - one that said "done, but with errors" with that little exclamation point warning graphic - I don't know if that is important or not for your purposes

The second one, with the 'mhtml' address worked just fine, including the button to expand to full-screen, and looks good, too. Nice work!

Sue:
Will be praying for all of you.

Gina, sorry I haven't been in sooner, I'll respond to your request just as soon today as I can, mabey just a little while.

To All, I could use your prayers too, lost my job this morning. Sorta seen it coming, with trying to get this business started up, but now it puts us at a crossroad. I either have to go find a job full time, or dedicate all my time to the business & we only have one contract so far. I know the Lord won't let us down but I don't want Agee's nerves getting tore up about money coming in. We're going out tomorrow to check places, hoping for the best. Thanks!

Hey friends!

Thanks for the comments KDLorelei. I'll check out that first one, but I think I'm going with the second one because the teachers only need the internet to get to it. Obviously they aren't all computer literate or I wouldn't be showing them how to change fonts . . .

Sue! Poor Brandy! This is going to be tough. I'm praying too.

Today got into the mid 50's here, but it was overcast all day.

Friday was one of those disaster days for kids and consequently their teachers. I came home wondering when I could quit and then promptly got sick with my head cold.

Today was a different day and one of the reasons I keep on. Kids were wonderful and so kind with my lack of voice and stamina. They never cease to amaze me.

Ron went to pick up Chinese for dinner. I came home and slept all afternoon. *sigh* It was wonderful.

Thanks preacher. I'm sorry about your job. Please don't let it get you down, there's a reason for it, and it's gotta be good. If not, it will work out to be good. If it doesn't, I'll come out there and you and Agee can both slap me for being wrong, but did you ever see me be wrong before? Hmmm? :D

My Corrina had me laughing out loud on the way home from school. I don't know what we were talking about, OH YES I DO! Just remembered.
It was the spaghetti thing. The oldest loves it and I don't, and she's been asking me to make it for dinner every night. We have the stuff to make it with, but I didn't want to.
So Corrina, she pipes up with "Well, we have it in the house, and if you make it, it will be gone and you won't have to worry about it anymore."

So I said "HMMM, good point Nina!"

Then she says "and once it's gone, you won't have to buy it again! Even though if you don't like it so much I don't know why you bought it already"

So I said "HMMMMM, VERY good point Nina!"

And she busted out with this:

"Yeah Mommy, I'm just FULL of good points!"

Had me laughing a good portion of the drive, and I'm still giggling thinking about it.

I'm going to bed. I feel totally exhausted.

Brent and I need to be at the Catholic church for a 9:00 funeral in the morning.

Pleasant dreams all!

We COULD start vicious rumors . . but what is the fun in that??!!

We set a record high today - 63F high in Casper and supposed to snow tomorrow. Ah, springtime in the Rockies!

I wish I'd have had time to just walk outside, but with a new class just starting (on church history and I'm into the ante-nicene fathers) last week and church and work, it was not in the cards today.

Hope you had a more enjoyable day!
