You do not know either of the men I am referring to, and therefore you have no basis for this statement.
What amazes me is the legalistic fake attitudes and standards of some that I read on the BB daily.
It seems that Jesus addressed this in Matthew 23:27-28 "Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness."

Isaiah served in the kingdom of Judah in the eighth century BC, when Israel had been taken captive by the Assyrians. This left Judah directly on the path between Assyria and Egypt. Assyria sent a force to attack Ashdod, near Judah. Isaiah's set out to show that Assyria would conquer. "The king of Assyria [shall] lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt" (Isaiah 20:4). Isaiah was commanded not only to speak words of prophecy but also to enact them. It was not enough for him to say that the king of Assyria would take the Egyptians and Ethiopians away captive, naked and barefoot, but he was to demonstrate the prophecy by himself loosing the sackcloth from his loins and putting off the shoes from his feet, to go naked and barefoot for three years.

Would you really like to examine my walk with the Lord to continue your condmenation without any regard to actual evidences?
Your picture defines much about you and your liberalism, in fact, it dares some one with a credible walk with God to speak out against it. You're a provacatist. No doubt you would also have persihed in the wilderness complaining against Moses for being a "legalist" as well?

Well, I don't know if Men at Work performed it as a tribute or not, but the song YMCA was performed by and a big hit by the Village People.

This is so absurd I can't believe anyone even pays this goob any attention. It is obvious that salamander is nothing but a troll. Nobody is so completely goofy that they actually think a band that didn't debut until 1982 performed another bands song that was new in 1979 at the 1980 grammy awards.

However, I am assuming that those against dancing would then also be against ice skating, gymnastics, and even calisthenics? What about sychronized swimming?
If it is just about male/female touching, is shaking hands or hugging someone you are not married to wrong?
Is jumping up and down wrong? Does it make a difference if it is to music?
I'm curious where the line is drawn here.
Now I know where I draw it -- I draw it at sexual suggestiveness. SOME ballets are suggestive. SOME ballroom dancing is suggestive. SOME ice competitions are suggestive.
But not all. And not even most.
So where is the line drawn by those against dancing altogether?

Well, having danced all my life and having taught dance (ballet, jazz, modern)for many years...now retired from teaching...now a dance choreographer...there is alot of wholesome dance out there and there is alot of trash. I even see a good purpose for dance in church. Dancing is a gift I was given from God and I can't see why He would be unhappy with me if I used it as part of my worship and praise.

Years ago I visited a Messianic Jewish Congregation and was most impressed at the knowledge of the Bible among those in the congregation. But in their worship which was about three hours long was a short segment of dance during the worship service.
There is an old Cheech and Chong joke. I hope it is not too distasteful.
