Does Rom 5:18 teach that Christ died for all men without exception ?

I agree with Bf on most things. He is welcome to have his own view, as I can have mine. It seems as if we differ as to when salvation takes place. I understand what he offers as there are some verses that can give a certain impression, let me show you; 2Tim1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us...

Does Rom 5:18 teach that Christ died for all men without exception ?

BF, We were not born saved...sorry. We are not saved from sin, until we are saved from sin. 2 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit...

Does Rom 5:18 teach that Christ died for all men without exception ?

Hello BF, Yes/No I 100% believe that all the elect are justified solely on the basis of the finished work of Christ as their Great High Priest, Mediator, and Surety! We know Jesus was the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world. Rev.13:8 God in the Covenant of Redemption, gave a...

Does Rom 5:18 teach that Christ died for all men without exception ?

He does leave salvation unto man who is fallen and alienated from the life of God. This comment was posted in error, as it was meant to be; He does NOT leave salvation unto man who is fallen and alienated from the life of God. Evidently I was up too early, before my brain was fully engaged...

Does Rom 5:18 teach that Christ died for all men without exception ?

Well ,life and saving faith happen at the same time. We both know that dead men cannot come to Jesus. The biblical teaching of election marks out who among fallen mankind is going to be saved of a certainty. This certainty has always been known to our omniscient God. The fact that it is going to...

Does Rom 5:18 teach that Christ died for all men without exception ?

I agree the wording is not the best. Now as far as what you offer I am not sure of your wording either. Are you a supralapsarian? I believe God has elected a multitude, but I also believe God has ordained the means of grace to change them and make them go from unwilling rebels, to willing...

Does Rom 5:18 teach that Christ died for all men without exception ?

    5. (19) Summary of the contrasts. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. a. He does not oppose it, He understands it. You should listen to it.

Does Rom 5:18 teach that Christ died for all men without exception ?

Yes indeed. He will never come to truth as he opposes himself. It is clear that those who oppose romans 5:12-21 do not understand the actual gospel.

Are We Born-Again Before Or After Faith?

Regeneration and saving faith happen at the same point in time.

Are We Born-Again Before Or After Faith?

Eph 1, does not start at vs.13. Eph.1 :3-14 is one sentence, it should be read as it is written.

As you have gotten older, What has changed. you or the churches?

Yes David, The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, we are told. Without it, many see no need to take in God's word as necessary food. I am glad to hear of some places where that is taking place, but often we hear of where the service of God is prostituted for modern novelties.

    For Whom Did Christ Die?

The question on the atonement has nothing to do with the sufficiency. The perfect atonement is not the question. The extent of the actual atonement is what you and others go off track on.

    For Whom Did Christ Die?

Free will is a man-made philosophical doctrine, it is not taught in scripture.

    For Whom Did Christ Die?

Christians have held these teachings from scripture throughout history, It looks as if you just desire to oppose truth, You are free to do that. All men cannot be saved, When Jesus died on the cross millions had already died without a saving knowledge of Him. Your ideas are your own, and not...
