    Did not the Lord use one of his angels to kill off 185000 of the enemies of his people? Think key here self defense and appropriate force, as the security should treat someone just yelling different from someone standing up and emptying his gun on the crowd

    Think that the biblical view of salvation would include a profession of faith is Jesus as Lord and savior, but such a profession would be evidenced by some fruit, such as a changed mindset regarding sin, God, church bible etc, and some type of good works unto others , so not just "faith alone"...

    Jesus alone among the Trinity is the God man, only One to assume human flesh and human nature to go with His already deity nature

    Very good list, would just add to it Thompson study bible, as it gets someone right into word of God alone for growth, and those scripture references are great , and also Knowing God by JI packer

    Jesus made it pretty clear, that if one comes to him to be saved, can and must be prepared to pick up his own cross, and endure the world system and its crowd, not just say 'save me Jesus", and then just cruise down salvation Blvd until dead or raptured

    Do you know how he thought about the 1881/1901 translations based upon the Critical Greek texts? Was it still mainly use kjv, but also at times use those if they had improved certain passages?
