    When 2 sinners who are both lost hear the good news of Jesus, one turns to Him, while the other scoffs at Him, why did the one change? If one does hold to we are assisting the Lord in saving us, must be due to that person being smarter, wiser, exercised their own faith etc

    The Father never saw Jesus as a sinner in Himself, but as the One bearing the sins of His own people and bearing their due wrath and judgement in their stead And Jesus experienced that forsakeness all lost will for all eternity

    Would say that the big Baptist distinctives would be local autonomy, believers baptism, separation church and state each person a priest to God and each person can hold to own doctrines and practices as long as not heretical

    Kenosis is a heretical view though regarding the nature of Jesus, IF one holds that Jesus while upon the earth was just fully man now. Not saying that you hold that view, but just stating kenosis can led to heresy.
